With cheese sauce with beans and rice.one carne asada taco and chimichanga to go and get copy of receipt. .she said receipt will be on back..which was a receipt but not amount i paid..which why I keep receipts for my logs..drove five mins from restaurant. .sat down to eat my cheese enchiladas. Was beef..I ate only one for i don't care for gesture of beef in enchiladas why I get cheese..so one didn't get ate..I ate rice even though today it was very dry and beans was cold on my order and his meal..I said well at least I have my taco...wrong..it wasnt. What I ordered..tasted and look like pork .so I had given to him to eat ..said tasted like pork..so I had. Read moreWe came, waited almost an hour and left. I’m thinking this was an off day for the staff but it was the way the situation was handled that was poor. We had a party of 7, we got seated immediately and got our drinks quickly too but that’s it, after 45 minutes we were never updated on our food or told why it was taking so long. We canceled our order & left. What should of taken place was before being seated we should of been told the wait time would be an hour so that no one’s time was wasted. The other family that accompanied us decided to stay & they still waited another 30 minutes to finally get their food! The waiter told them that we weren’t the first to get up and leave that night and that their usual cooks weren’t there ( I saw this excuse in other reviews as well). I believe updating and keeping communication with your customers is not only crucial but respectful. I hope they learned something from it & improve on the staff & customer communication. As for my family & I, we won’t be going back. I know plenty of places where this isn’t an issue & I’d rather avoid running into this...
Read moreI moved to Joplin barely a month ago. This restaurant was recommended to me because I Love Mexican Food. I am hoping that I just picked the Worst night ever to drive 23 miles to eat there? I arrived before 6:00 pm, it was Saturday night, kind of busy. After I was seated, it took 15 minutes for someone to take my order. After 55 minutes and two Presidente Margaritas, I stopped a staff member walking by, and asked for my check. At approximately 7:15 pm, my check arrived. I put my coat on, then another employee arrived, and I heard him asking another table if it was their food. As I was getting up, he realized it was my order. I was hungry after two Margaritas, so I sat back down. The food was cold and not worth eating, at this point I asked for the check. Poor Service, Poor Quality of food served cold. I paid the $46.00, and wished that I had went to Taco Bell instead. The server mentioned the regular cooks were not there, they should have mentioned it before I wasted my Time, Fuel and Money.
