This cute little shop makes great bagel sandwiches and B'donuts (baked donuts) that are like a sweet, dense cake/bread donuts. They just opened and are figuring things out, so go early. I have been 3 times. The first time they were out of B'donuts at 11am (the reason we went), the second time (yesterday) they were closed at 10:30 because they were out of EVERYTHING. But today I went at 10:15 and got a bagel sandwich and B'donuts. Maybe Sunday mornings are slower due to the church crowd, but I would say go before 10 for now if you want to be sure they'll have what you're looking for. It''s really a pick up and take out place, so don't expect to sit around there with a cup of coffee. There are a hand full of seats outside and the interior is standing room only for people waiting for their orders. We split the bacon egg and cheddar sandwich on a plain bagel and got 2 B'donuts and everything was delicious. The service was good (friendly, average speed /wait time). Overall, we really enjoyed it. If they get their production figured out and have food to last through the open hours of the day, it will be a less frustrating endeavor and we'll be regular customers.

Same owners as Pizzeria Faulisi, Montreal-style bagels, which are smaller and denser than New York bagels and have a slightly sweet taste, since they're made from a malted dough and boiled in water sweetened with brown sugar. The bagels were great, got them toasted so they were hot, crusty exterior with soft bread like interior not as chewy as NY bagels. Did a cinnamon sugar with pumpkin pie cream cheese smear and an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. The cinnamon sugar bagel with the pumpkin pie smear was like the perfect holiday taste. The bagel had the right amount of cinnamon, wasn't too sweet and the pumpkin pie cream cheese tasted like pumpkin pie. I was only permitted one bite of the everything bagel before my husband inhaled it, obviously he really enjoyed it. I can speak to it to say it was very flavorful and the bacon had a nice smokey flavor. Their coffee has a fruity flavor to it so it hardly needs any sugar. It's a tiny place more of a grab-and-go although there are four little bar stools inside and some tables outside.

They were okay but I wouldn’t make them my regular bagel spot. We placed an order online and were able to pick up by the time we got to the shop. They sent a text saying the order was ready. I would suggest that if you want to try this place you don’t go on a weekend at the busiest breakfast times since they are only accepting online orders. The bagels were fine, but they’re priced like fancy artisan bagels even though the place looks like a casual bagel shop. I don’t like that they only put the everything seasoning on one side of the bagel, but that’s clearly a choice that they’ve made for all of their bagels and it just doesn’t align with my personal preference. I like to be able to eat each half of my bagel separately, but with the seasoning only on one side you have to eat it like a bagel sandwich even if you didn’t order a sandwich. Also, they definitely don’t skimp on the toppings here. There was plenty of cream cheese on my bagel and plenty of meat packed into the bagel sandwich.

PROS I come here quite regularly for breakfast, and I very much enjoy the friendly service each visit. After only a few visits, the cashier remembered my name! The bagels are very affordable, and the schmears are very generous. The breakfast sandwiches and cake donuts are delicious, and the coffee is local.

CONS They currently have only one size of coffee (about 12 ounces), and they don't have coffee cup sleeves - instead, they double-up on paper cups. The breakfast sandwiches are a bit pricey, but they're worth it.

SUMMARY I look forward to getting breakfast from here every Wednesday and Thursday. The owners are my neighbors, and supporting local businesses is always great!

UPDATE 8/25/2020 Despite some turnover, the staff remains extremely friendly and personal. Occasionally, new items will be added to the menu, either temporarily or permanently. Several months ago, a new schmear called Unicorn was added, which features rainbow sprinkles and donut crumbs. A few weeks ago, a one-time special schmear called Banana Dream was available. Last fall, a seasonal Pumpkin Pie schmear was available. I hope that the Banana Dream and the Pumpkin Pie schmears return in the future.

Here are my favorite sandwiches: Hova on Salt and Pepper Bagel Hot Ham and Swiss on Asiago Bagel Banana Jamma on Cinnamon Sugar Bagel Egg, Bacon, and Cheddar on Asiago Bagel Egg, Bacon, and Cheddar on Salt and...

A depressing, hassle of a trip to a bagel shop. I first went to Big Doms a few months back. It’s located in the active and beautiful downtown Cary. The first time we stopped by we were enjoying a day in all the nice shops of Cary. We went to Doms which was closed on the inside (probably for covid but may be the only place in the county still closed if so) and we’re told to use the drive through. We did and we’re told you must first order online.

After ordering two toasted bagels and paying we received our pick up time, 1 hour. That’s right, 1 hour for a bagel. We waited 30 minutes and pulled up to the window assuming since the drive thru was empty that they may have made a mistake. We were instructed to go park and wait for the 1 hour pick up time. We ended up leaving.

We decided to give it another chance because stuff happens and business are struggling. If this place is struggling it’s because they aren’t doing themselves any favors. Their ordering and pick up is the same as before. This time after trying everything, it really wasn’t worth it. Cary has a ton of bagel shops, and none make you jump through hoops. The bagels are good, but no more so than many other bagels. It would probably be worth it if you could drop in and grab a...
