The Fish and Chips were a standout for me. The batter was golden and crispy, yet not overly greasy, which is a sign of skilled frying. The fish inside was flaky and flavorful. The portion size was generous, and it came with a side of perfectly cooked, thick-cut chips that were just as satisfying.
Now, let's talk about the Apple Crisp. This dessert was a delightful surprise. The warm, gooey apple filling had a hint of cinnamon that created a comforting aroma. The contrast of textures between the soft, baked apples and the crispy topping was pure bliss. Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top elevated it to a whole new level.
The Chicken Gouda Wrap was a pleasant surprise as well. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the addition of Gouda cheese brought a creamy richness to every bite. The wrap itself was fresh and held everything together perfectly. It was a great choice for those looking for a satisfying meal that's not too heavy.
Lastly, the Buffalo Shrimp deserves special mention. The shrimp were plump and succulent, and the buffalo sauce had just the right balance of heat and tanginess. It was a delightful twist on the classic buffalo wing, and I found myself wanting more after the first bite.
The overall experience at Crosstown Pub and Grill was enhanced by the friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, making it an excellent place for both casual dining and special occasions.
In conclusion, Crosstown Pub and Grill Cary impressed me not only with its diverse menu but also with the quality of its dishes. Whether you're a seafood lover, a fan of comfort desserts, or looking for unique flavor combinations, this place has something for everyone. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of...

Our recent visit to this place on the night of November 27, 2024, was nothing short of a disaster. I went with two friends for what was supposed to be a peaceful evening of dinner and drinks. While we were having a private conversation, admittedly a bit louder than usual, the night took a baffling and upsetting turn.
Just minutes after last call, at around midnight, a random stranger seated nearby, along with the two hostesses on duty, began accusing us of being racist. This accusation came completely out of nowhere. When we politely asked for clarification—hoping to understand what we might have said that was offensive—no one could provide a single concrete example. Instead of addressing the matter professionally, they resorted to outright character assassination, labeling us without reason or explanation.
To make matters worse, we were told to leave in the middle of our meal. In an utterly shocking and disrespectful move, the waitress pulled my plate away while I was still eating! This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from any establishment, let alone one we once considered a favorite.
The entire ordeal was humiliating and deeply upsetting. It is appalling that a restaurant would allow such unprofessional and hostile treatment of its customers, all based on baseless and unsubstantiated accusations. We left feeling disrespected, dehumanized, and completely let down by a place we used to trust and enjoy.
I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you value your dignity and expect to be treated with basic respect, avoid this place at all costs. This kind of customer service—or lack thereof is an embarrassment and a disgrace....
Read moreIf I could give ten stars, I would. I have been living in Cary for going on three years, and tried the various pubs in the area in that time. We live just miles from downtown Cary, and we drove by and just on a whim decided to stop in. What a great choice that was! Let me tell you - the half portion fish and chips is positively perfect for anyone, and the price is so reasonable (it costs half of what some Irish pubs in the area charge). It was fresh, silky, and clean to eat with a batter that melted on my tongue. The steak fries were absolutely amazing - crisp and fresh, fried perfectly without being browned or undercooked. The slaw was delicious! My husband got the regular all american burger, and said it was super delicious. There aren't many places here in Cary that you can get two entrees at dinner on a Friday for $18 combined. The service was absolutely fantastic. Our server (I think I heard someone call him Alex?) was so nice and super hospitable. The employees there were smiling and friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. One of the best parts is definitely the mood. This was a low-key sort of pub. No screaming sports fans yelling at the telly, no people screeching to talk over one another - but it wasn't pretentious or stuffy. It was cozy and warm, and comfortable. We are so thrilled and cannot wait to make this our frequent...
