MOLDY BREAD! RUDE EMPLOYEES! Stay away!! I ordered a sub on the app. Picked it up. And drove home. The service to begin with was great! The sandwich was even very good! UNTIL I found mold on the sandwich When I called the store I overhead the guy telling his boss that they have had a problem with mold on the white bed for a while. He said that another employee found mold the day before and he found mold earlier that day. He offered me a refund but I would need to return to the store which I said was difficult for me bc I was not in the area (traveling through for work). I told him that I overheard him tell his boss that this has been happening a couple of times and I said it was concerning that this has happened before and it is still happening. He told me “it was a quality control issue and they had thrown away the previous moldy bread and not served it to customers and it was not a store issue. and if I was going to continue to throw accusations around then I’m going to hang up”. Which he did immediately. I tried calling back several times over the next few hours and they would not answer the phone. After finishing work, I drove back to the store and asked for the refund. While he was issuing the refund, I said “I don’t think you handled that appropriately” he responded with “well you can keep your opinions to yourself” I walked out and told the emoloyee who was standing by the bread, to check all the bread loafs. The next day I called and spoke with the general manager, Mayuri, she was not receptive to the complaints and kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain what happened and just kept offering me the refund. I was finally able to tell her that I had already gotten the refund and to please let me finish explaining all that happened (the details the employees left out). She was rude and dismissive of the issue. she then told me that every so often that get bread with mold on it and just throw that one piece away. While also saying, they do not have a mold problem even tho it’s obvious they do and have known about it for days. I let her know that I was calling the health department and filing a formal complaint. She told me to go ahead and call them. She finished by saying “is there anything else you want to rant about because I have other customers” I was shocked at the lack of professionalism, lack of care for a mold problem, and willingness to fix a known mold problem. I said an expletive word and hung up. I highly recommend avoiding this location and if you do dine there, CHECK THE BREAD FOR MOLD BEFORE EATING!

Gets back on and takes my husband’s phone number so the store manager could call him. My husband goes in today because he never got a phone call… They remade it correctly this time but the lettuce was brown throughout the entire side salad. Someone could have gotten sick if they ate this. I’m all about second chances but I personally will never return to fire house subs. Jersey Mike’s has better quality in their food and customer service. Do Better FireHouse!!!!!

Absolutely disrespectful Ordered a large hook and ladder and picked up immediately as it was ready, as I arrived home around 5 minutes later it appearaed just appalinginly unappetizing, it looked white as if it was barely toasted, cold even though it had barely been some time since it was picked up, and finally much shorter than a LARGE hook and ladder should be. When I returned to complain, I was met with disrespect, giving comments as “well its white bread” and “you took too long to pick it up”. As stated before I had picked it up the moment it was ready and had even arrived earlier. Owners and staff here are inexperienced and disrespectful, will definetly avoid in the future and suggest others do as well.

Firehouse Subs Review: New Owner and Hot Sauce Bar Add a Kick!

I recently visited Firehouse Subs and was excited to see the changes brought in by the new owner. One of the most notable additions is the hot sauce bar, which lets you customize your subs with a variety of sauces. I have to give special mention to the Backdraft sauce—an amazing blend of sweetness and spice that brings out the best in any sandwich.

I paired the Grilled Chicken Sub with the Backdraft sauce, and it was the perfect match. The sauce’s sweet undertones balanced the spicy heat, creating a flavor-packed bite that made the juicy chicken and fresh toppings even more enjoyable.
