Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Cary

The worst service experience I’ve had anywhere, let alone at a Jersey Mike’s. The staff was so unorganized and unprepared it was hard to watch. Wasn’t greeted friendly but that’s the least of my concerns for this experience. It took them over 20 mins to get my sandwich done even though there wasn’t a line. There were 3 employees working at the time that had no sense of urgency or direction. They kept complaining about the amount of online orders they had and how it set them behind. They helped one online order which only had one sandwich before me, which took forever because they were moving so slow. Then they told another customer who was there for an online order that they weren’t able to complete it since it was a large order. They let that customer cut in front of me in line to get his refund while I was already waiting for a long time. My sandwich looked horrible and messy as they wrapped it up. I didn’t want to spend any of my money for the terrible service and quality. I walked out while I was still waiting and went to a restaurant right next door, where they had my food done in minutes. I overheard the employee who seemed in charge say that the manager wasn’t there and took off on short notice. That still doesn’t excuse the terrible service that I and other customers received today around noon. There should have been some plan in place. Either way, I won’t be using this Jersey Mike’s again. Came in expecting to order a meatball sub. Found out it got taken off the menu. Ok. Fine. Ordered the original Italian instead. They cut the bread where it doesn't hinge on one side, making the whole thing harder to eat. Ok...sure. whatever. They ask if I want it mike's way. I say sure - all that, but just not the vinegar. The girl at the counter drops enough lettuce on it to turn it into a salad. And then enough oil to turn it into a small scale model of the BP gulf oil spill. Then they try to throw every pepper on there they can. I'm just flabbergasted watching this at this point wondering if they changed "Mikes Way" but manage to stop them before the jalapenos were thrown on too. I walked away with a bulging, oily mess made by people who seem to have never even seen what a sub is supposed to look like. Went home and ate a quarter of it before the mess fell apart in my hands and I just ended up throwing the rest away. I get it now. I should've gone to Jimmy John's. I do NOT...

I used to love Jersey Mike’s but I don’t think I can ever go back to this location. No staff out to greet you, they were just hanging out in the back. Once they heard the door bell they came out and I picked up my mobile app order. Once left I opened up my sandwich and was extremely disappointed. I normally love Jersey mikes but this location made a really gross sandwich that just by it's appearance I questioned the sanitation of the team and barely ate it. It was squished down to cut, but the cut wasn’t even in the middle. It was drenched in oil and vinegar so the bread was extremely soggy. There were hardly any toppings on it. It was really gross and I don't think I can go back unless they get a new franchise owner that can get the staff to follow Jersey mikes standard or a fire and reset of new staff. I can’t believe I...
