I went to mirchi restaurant after all of the hype that I heard about. Unfortunately it did not live upto the standards. The food is decent quality. The drinks were super spicy or super sweet. The service is awful. One of the team member came asking me how is everything so far after getting our drinks and appetizers. I mentioned the drink was super spicy. I wasn’t even able to drink. The response I got was terrible. What did you expect it said chili in the name. We really make it spicy at this restaurant. Instead of offering to remake the drink. Then I continued on with the night. We asked for water to be filled 3 times it took them 10 minutes or so fill water. Then we asked them to get containers for appetizer. They came twice asking how many after I specified. They came back with wrong amount of containers. Then I asked them for more containers after entree and again same issue. To top it all off they asked me how was everything when my bill came. I said service was terrible. They didn’t bother even apologizing. I asked why was I charged gratuity for table of 5 when they say gratuity is included in table of 6. They said we include it for all. Places where gratuity is included then service should match. People generally tip based on the service. This is by far the worst Indian restaurant experience in triangle. I have visited and wrote amazing reviews for many in the area. Update: after seeing the owners comments I called back to discuss what happened. The owner agreed to do the right thing by reimbursing me the tip money and the drink money. I was informed to visit again. There is a fine print that party of 5 there will be an automatic gratuity included.

Title: Another Great Christmas at Mirchi’s Indian Restaurant Review: Continuing our tradition of Indian food for Christmas, we visited Mirchi’s Indian Restaurant this year, and it was as fantastic as ever. There's something special about having spicy, flavorful Indian cuisine during the festive season, and Mirchi's did not disappoint. The chaat and samosas, our starters, were exceptional as always. They were the perfect beginning to our meal, setting the stage with their delicious flavors and textures. But the main courses were the real showstoppers. Every dish was a delightful mix of spices and aromas, just how we like our Christmas feast to be. The naan and rice were the perfect companions to these dishes, adding that comforting touch to the meal. What I love about Mirchi’s is not just the food, but the whole vibe. It’s always clean, cozy, and just the right kind of intimate - making our annual festive meal even more special. The staff there always make us feel at home, recommending new dishes to try which adds a nice surprise to our traditional meal. In short, our visit to Mirchi’s was another memorable chapter in our Christmas tradition. It’s a great place to enjoy a hearty, festive meal.

This has become our regular spot for dinners because of proximity. They are also getting better and more efficient. Second visit:- went there for sit down dinner. Nice seating outside. Tried Guntur chicken and onion pakora. Chicken was amazing. I should have specified mild. It was really spicy but I liked it. Pakora was good. Wife ordered masala tea with pakoras. Tea was super fresh. Initial service was good but went downhill as soon as couple of tables were full. Had to remind them for couple of things multiple times before someone finally helped. Service could definitely be improved but food is good. Menu has lot of yummy options to try. Previous visit:- Tried takeout earlier this week. Ordered Hakka noodles, haryali chicken kabab, dal tadka and roti. Chicken kabab and dal tadka was bland. Hakka noodles had fried crispy chicken which was unusual. I wish food had little more flavors. I will try other things next time. Looks like they will be expanding the menu soon. Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating for folks who wants to sit outside.

Decided to try out this new local neighborhood restaurant after seeing the great reviews it was getting. Restaurant is in a new shopping complex and has a more pleasant atmosphere than most Indian restaurants. Arrived around 6:30pm and it was not very busy which meant there was no wait to be seated. Music played in the background at a level which allowed one to have a conversation without difficulty. Single TV screen was also present to provide entertainment but its location is not ideal for the customers. Service was attentive and courteous.

Being vegetarians our choices were somewhat limited. We went for their signature dishes of Saag Paneer and Paneer Butter Masala which came with rice. Also, ordered Roti which is freshly made in the tandoor. Food was ready in short order and looked very appetizing when brought to the table. I was looking forward to the Saag Paneer while my wife had her focus on Paneer Butter Masala. This is where the evening went downhill. Saag Paneer was salty and I could not finish the serving I had in my plate. My wife tried it too and agreed it was salty. Paneer Butter Masala was okay but nothing to make it a 'signature' dish. Roti was acceptable as I expected it to be thinner like a chapatti rather than being more like a pita. We would normally take home the leftovers but did not do so with the entrees this time.

Considering it is a new restaurant, there is usually someone who would come by each table to get some feedback but it did not happen in this place. Restaurant made a favorable impression with its setup but the staff attire was very lax and did not match the vibe they created. It was a disappointing outing as we were hoping to have this local restaurant become a...

I'm not one to write reviews very often but I had to for this restaurant. I drove down to the Durham/Cary area with family for the day and ended up being there pretty late. We were shopping in the area and wanted to find a place to just grab a quick bite. I found this gem of a restaurant just because it was close to where we were. We showed up around 8:30pm (they close at 10), and ordered a couple of entrees and some naan. And although it was late and we were hungry, I am extremely critical over food I eat. I have a tendency to cook quite a bit and know my food/flavors. If something doesn't taste right or has a certain ingredient that's overdone, I'll be the first to say something. I don't think I could find a flaw with the dishes we ordered. That's saying something coming from someone as picky as I am. And that's just the food. The service was on a level I haven't seen from a business in well over 5 years. They took care of every single patron as they were family. It put a smile on my face to see the amount of care and love they put into not only making the food, but also taking the orders and speaking with everyone. With that said, this establishment is about 4 hours away from my house, but I would drive down here again just for the food and service. They just opened up 2 months ago according to our wonderful waiter and I can't wait to see what they become. I can't imagine them doing anything but great things if they stay true to their current ways. It's out of the way but I know I will undoubtedly...
