The food is pretty good, the staff are friendly, there is plenty of parking, and there is a small outdoor seating area with 6 tables in front of the restaurant. However, the men's restroom seems to be commonly very dirty / not cleaned regularly, the line to order is typically very slow, the fountain drink machine is sometimes out of ingredients, and the acoustics in the seating area reflect sound resulting in fairly loud background noise. The slow line to order seems to be due primarily to stopping serving in person customers in order to fulfill online orders, with only one person working the station who has to switch back and forth -- they seem to receive a high number of online orders, so even when there is no line in person, it can still take a while for the staff to "catch up" and be ready to serve the one person who is waiting at the counter. The menu has been reduced over the years, but the staples are still available. As an overview, you get to choose among burrito, "bowl" (burrito ingredients without the tortilla), quesadilla, and taco. I have had much better experiences at other Moe's locations in the past -- I continue to return to this one mainly because this location is the most convenient to my home. The food is pretty good, and the discounted prices for burritos + bowls on Mondays make it a good value -- as long as you're not in a rush and don't mind the rough edges around cleanliness / restocking of the...
Read moreNot one employee moving with a sense of urgency that usually accompanies a restaurant team trying to meet the demands of a standard dinner rush. The manager was counting things for inventory and walking around like we weren't even there. He knew we are all amongst a full out dinner rush! No team coordination; no customer compensations; equals no future business! We all stood in line and wondered how many burritos we could of made and ate at home before we could get our food and sit down to eat just one at Moe's. It took over 40 minutes to get food that takes no longer than 4 minutes to prepare. Not to mention how many employees you have to repeat your order to. Why do I have to place my order 4 or more times and then watch them mess up the family/group's bill at the cash register every time; no matter which Moe's! While, the food was good. I will not return for their gauntlet they want to pass of as a "welcoming" experience. I say, "Welcome to no Moe's". Please train your younger lethargic employees and have at least one focused mature adult in the place that knows how to manage and coordinate a group of employees. I will wait for the "Under New Management" sign until then. Zero stars for service and four stars for food is two stars...
Read moreIt's been about a year since I've been to Moe's. I visited today with my son and got take out. Tell me why I paid $13.00 for this?! I ordered my burrito naked, so in a bowl, and asked for the tortilla it would come in on the side. The reason being, I usually eat agter I put my son to bed and I wanted to be able to heat it all up and then roll the burrito so I didn't have to microwave the lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. They had no problem doing this, but they had the NERVE to charge me for the tortilla. Um what? How can you charge me for the tortilla when I ordered a burrito. It literally comes in a tortilla. I asked if she understood what I ordered because I thought maybe she misunderstood what I ordered. Nope...she said Moe's charges for the tortilla when you ask for it on the side, even though it's literally part of the meal. The portion sizes was ridiculously small. My 4 year old was hungry after his ADULT entree. I will not be going back. I understand with inflation prices have had to increase but how dare you increase prices by 50% AND decrease portion sizes to less than a kid's meal, AND start charging for standard items. Go to Chipotle. Their food is a higher quality, larger portions, and actually it's ...
