We are starting to see a trend in quick dinning restaurants. The service here was fine, the atmosphere was ok, and the food was fresh but not amazing. Our meals were close to $10 for a sandwiches. It's a meditrainian cafe so we all asked for the lamb gyros. Allthough each one was cooked fresh there was nothing meditrainian about it. No flavor, no olive oil(that we could tell), no spices of any kind in the meat. They are relying on thier tzatziki sauce for the flavor. Their sauce was ok, but we've had much better tzatziki sauces. The trend we are seeing is everyone is relying on sauces. We've been to places where all they serve is chicken..but again no flavor in the chicken. They want to know what sauce you want for it. If all you are going to serve is chicken it should be the best flavored chicken you can serve. Same with this restaurant, if you're serving meditrainian type of dishes, they should be a meditrainian style of cooking This was not. We ate everything, but we were hungry and on the road so we did not see rhe point in complaining. They also talked about healthy sides, then served the sandwich with potato chips and a healthy side. Not much healthy about chips. We had roasted new potatoes, agian not with much meditraining seasoning. Also the tomatoes and cucumber salad. Which was fine but most of it's seasoning came from...
Read moreThis is our favorite restaurant for flavor, healthy options, price, and proximity to our home. For years, we've enjoyed the consistently good food (my personal favorite is the grilled shrimp feast!). The last two visits here (both within the last 3 weeks) were still decent, but the shrimp was smaller in size, spiced differently (hotter in spice) from in the past, and noticeably smaller portions in general for both my husband's and my meal. While the food was still acceptable, it was disappointing not to be delighted, as has been the usual case in the past. (New ownership?) The employees at this location are always friendly, efficient, and helpful, with one in particular standing out as going above and beyond. Her name is LaKayla. We'll continue to frequent this location, giving them a chance to redeem themselves, but if the food quality and quantity doesn't go back to how it was, we'll have to find a new favorite place. I hope they revert to their off-the-charts' previous performance...

I recently ate here in Holly Springs, and overall, I was impressed with the flavors and freshness of their Mediterranean cuisine. The food is undoubtedly tasty and well-prepared. However, I deducted a star because their gyro didn't quite live up to my expectations. Unfortunately, it's not cooked on a traditional rotisserie, which made it slightly less authentic and juicy compared to other places I've tried.
That being said, the rest of the dishes we ordered were enjoyable, and the ingredients were clearly fresh and of high quality. The service was also friendly and attentive.
If you're in the area and craving Mediterranean food, Taziki's is definitely worth a visit. While it may not be the absolute best gyro I've had, the restaurant's overall quality and flavor make it a...
