If it wasn't for the employees, I wouldn't go here. It also happens to be extremely close by. Originally, I was never going to say anything bad, like I said I liked a couple of the employees who are friendly. But the truth is the Sushi and food here isnt that good. It tends to be bland and looks like it mostly comes frozen. The owner/chef is extremely rude and any complaint about his food is shoved to the side. My Grandmother said his food tasted off on two seperate occasions and he told her twice it was fine.It was obviously not.Alot of the time, if you come in to order food and or sit down and there are people already eating or they look busy, they will not even address you when you come in. Ive sat down in the front for almost 10 minutes without anybody even addressing the fact that I came in and they can clearly see you. In fact, I will probably never eat here again. I would give 0 stars if possible. Just so everyone is aware as well I have tried most of the items on the menu, there are a couple that are ok but mostly is something I can find in a bag at your...
Read moreThere are only 2 sushi places in Casa Grande. This place Lucky and Sho-Ga. Lucky seems to be the lesser of the 2. The sashimi/sushi dish was good but I feel you get robbed for the $28 you pay. The sushi rolls were lacking rice and thus very small. But the sashimi was definitely adequate. Then we got the bill and were overcharged. Sushi and sushi/sashimi dinner totals $51 and we were charged $75 but the owner fixed it. Writing was hard to read so had ower explain. Turns out there was also a sprite on there we never ordered. So by having the owner go over our bill we reduced it by $30 to what it should have been. Also had the fried banana for dessert. Very bland and not worth the money. Very disappointing. I don't mind paying for something I ate regardless if good or bad but don't overcharge. I guess we'll be going to Sho-Ga next time. You pay less and get more and we don't get ripped off. Sad really because staff seems nice at Lucky. So "Lucky" for my attention to detail we didn't get overcharged. But also you need to provide higher quality if you're gonna...
Read moreUnfortunately, I've had a terrible experience with Lucky Sushi. I ordered 60 dollars worth of sushi. (4 rolls 2 spicey 2 California, plus delivery). The Sushi was terrible, portion size was extremely small. The food was gone in literally 3 minutes. My 3 person family all commented the amount for 60 bucks was not worth it. The rolls were falling apart because they were not professionally rolled. My fortune cookie didn't even have a fortune inside, that sums up lucky Sushi. I called the next day before the review portion and the employee refused to get a manager, and did nothing to help matters. As a former restaurant executive, I never complain. I was hopeful for awesome local Sushi. Don't waste your time, and money on Lucky Sushi, and or disappoint your family. (Updated 8/17/2022 been going to frys grocery stores for sushi ever since this experience, and it is awesome, fresh, good portions, authentic, and a fraction of the price. I'm seriously...
