Culver’s — Restaurant in Casselberry

The food here is amazing, I should begin with that. It’s always fresh, always hot, and it never disappoints. The staff here is super friendly, always happy to assist you, and I’ve never seen more smiling people anywhere other than Disney. That’s saying something, truly.

For many months, we have had wonderful experiences, but our past three visits have gone downhill a bit with timeliness and order accuracy. We never order anything complicated, but they keep getting small things wrong, like when you pay an up charge to get cheese curds and they give you fries. It’s not a small upcharge, so when you get the wrong thing, it’s pretty disappointing. They are willing to correct it, always, which I very much appreciate (hence four stars), but you shouldn’t have to wait (again) in a huge line to have it corrected before you can eat your meal.

Tonight, my daughter asked to go to Culver’s and I thought, “Sure, why not?” When we walked in, there were so many people in line that my back was to the entrance door, so I expected a wait (not a problem at all). The line to order moved fairly quickly though, and once we sat, the people that ordered after us sat near us. They got their food in 20 minutes, and my toddler and I waited over 50 minutes. I expect to wait that long at a regular restaurant, but that seemed a bit much given the simplicity of the menu, the fact that the line was now gone, and it wasn’t packed outside anymore. At 53 minutes, I went up to get a refund because my kiddo was starving and asked the cashier why our food never came when everyone else’s seemed to (the orders that happened after ours). She looked behind her and said it was sitting up there in the chute, and loaded it on a tray and gave it to me. Why it hadn’t been served I couldn’t tell you, but when we got back to the table after an hour of waiting, the sandwich I ordered wasn’t even correct.

While I truly enjoy this place, and I know I could have asked for a corrected sandwich, I just didn’t feel like it was worth it to wait even longer to do so. The food is still great, but I’m hoping that the accuracy we used to see during our...

This afternoon sixteen members of the Promise Church Life Group (B.A.S.I.C. Brothers And Sisters In Christ) had lunch here at Culver's of Casselberry. We had a great time and everyone said how good their fresh meals were. There's a variety on the menu to select from like beef, chicken, salads, and they even have a seafood section. Our party mostly ordered hamburger options, some fish, and others yet Strawberry Fields Salad. It got even sweeter as we followed it up with Concrete Mixers, shakes, malts, & Sundae's too!

Everything in sight was sanitary, organized, and well maintained. Everything had a place and everything was in its place. That's refreshing and a strength Culver's has over the mass majority of fast food places.

Finally I would like to give kudos to the following Blue Crew members that I had direct interactions with on this visit. Jonathan who took my initial order confirming every detail. Kevin who took time out between hussling orders to their tables , per our request, to snap a few photos of our special event. Later he even politely asked how they turned out? Now that's taking pride in what you do. 👍 Next was Cody who was very personable and a delightful young man I enjoyed having a dialog with. Lastly was Nick who took my second order of a Strawberry shake to go. He noticed I had some salad leftover. Yes, the portions are generous here. He suggested items I might want to take with me so I was lacking for nothing. Wonderful job hiring and preparing so many hard working young men within one company. 8/25/2024 - This was our first visit to this location, BUT not our first visit to Culver's. We were shopping in Casselberry and it was dinner time. We knew that we couldn't go wrong with Culver's. This location was easy to access from the roadway and there is plenty of parking. The employees were very friendly. Miss. Jada was our cashier. She was attentive, soft spoken, but super polite. We ordered the 2 piece fish plate, single butter burger deluxe and my 13 year old got the chicken strips. The food was fresh, served quickly and hot. The fries were not as golden as I preferred them to be. Hence the reason I did not give 5 stars. I have never had a problem with this before so, I did not think to request for my fries to be fried golden. The fries were served hot, but they were not golden. I probably should have said something, but since they were hot I seasoned them with some pepper and enjoyed my meal with my family. We did not leave room for custard, but it is absolutely delicious.

The soda fountain, sweet tea and unsweetened tea is all self serve and free refills. The station was clean and I did notice employees checking to make sure it remained free of spills and trash. There was an employee that was walking the dining room and she did check on us. She offered to take our trays.
