This is an awesome neighborhood dog park to bring your dog, even if it is a tiny dog, they have an area for them but if your bring them to the bigger area, the big dogs won't mess with them (from what i have ever seen) in the photos, youcan see we started him in the "big dog" park from the beginning & all the big dogs loved playing with the puppy, its like they take care of "their" young. I have never met a mean dog at this park (tho one always tries to "hump" my boy!) But none have ever been aggressive. It is a large fenced-in area with plenty of room for your dog to run in the fully shaded park from all the surrounding trees & lots of benches for the parents to sit & watch. They have a water fountain for the dogs & for their owners too. It is a lot of dirt (like most dog parks), so your dog will likely get dirty (if it is the type to play with other dogs). Mine is white and needs a bath every time but it is SO worth it bc he is an apartment dog so the open space is perfect for him, and 99% of the dog owners there are super nice, I made some "friends" that we try to meet up with so our dogs can play. If you live in or near Casselberry, I suggest this one over others. There is also a playground right next to it, though not much shade, so it does get hot! Photos of doggie after play, overjoyed, dirty, and ready...
Read moreNot the best dog park in the world. But it is a place where you can take your dog and they can play. It is divided into two parts. One for smaller dogs and another one for medium and larger dogs. It has four fire hydrants and a water station for the dogs as well as a water fountain for the dogs people. It is a little Dusty and your dog can get dirty there. But nonetheless I do take my dog there and he does enjoy it. I just have to brush him well before I take him home. I just wish they would add some more mulch it's getting...
Read moreOverall, great park. They have one large playground piece, shaded nature trail, dog park next door, basketball court and sand volley ball court. I have a 14 month old who is still getting the hang of walking so climbing the large structure is a little difficult, and we didn't use it much as it was made for larger children. I wish there were a few elements on ground level for younger kids or possibly some baby swings. We will definitely come back for the trail or playground when she is...
