Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Casselberry

My wife and I have been coming to H.E since we moved to Winter Springs last year in April. I don’t know what makes this food taste so fresh and not loaded with soy sauce and sodium but it’s probably because if the fresh food right? :) I get the Beek and vegetables and add scallops and they are the big scallops with a pan seared tops and bottoms and oh so good in the middle! My wife usually gets the chicken and vegetables and raves about it as well. You can also order your meat hear medium rare and feel safe about it but to mention it is way tender and more flavorful this way. The only thing they need is to add the little soda water button in their soft drink machine as there is only the water button (soda water is much more refreshing, taste better than plain water and no sugars or chemicals of soft drinks). We usually do take out and enjoy a nice meal at home at least once a week usually in the weekends. I’ve never asked but there are two that man the front counter (the gentleman cooks as well) that seem like they are the owners. Their English has a thick accent but they understand English perfectly when we talk to them and place our order with all sorts of changes from the menu. First time coming here and it will be the last time. First off I ordered steak hibachi. In which I have ordered before at different places and I've gotten what I payed for. I ordered take out and when I got home I was so mad! My fiancé literally counted his steak and there was 15 pieces. I opened my container and lost my appetite! I called the store and asked for a refund. The manager told me he wasn't going to give me a refund because they don't make too much money! That just set me off because I payed for something and I'm a customer I have a right to feel satisfied! He laughed at me when I told him I'm pregnant and that I wasn't going to eat the food. He hung up on me. I called back and told him if I don't get my money back I will call the cops and get my money back. He hung up on me again! So I showed up and he seriously counted the pieces of meat right in front of me! He was so rude and unprofessional! I was so angry at the fact that I went out of my way to be satisfied! The manager is so horrible! Never again will I ever step a foot in that place! Don't ever eat at this place! U don't get what you pay for and will be told that they don't care how you feel! You know when you have a favorite song or perfume and you dont want to tell anyone what it is because its your little secret? Well thats how i feel about hibachi express. But im also worried it will be like arrested development and end up getting cancelled bc nobody watches it and it was the best tv show going and now you have to wait 5 years for netflix to pick it up and theres nothing else quite like it to take its place and an empty hole resides in your heart until that void is filled many years later but you reflect on how you wished you would have told you family and friends and the entire internet what a great show it is so it may have never been cancelled in the first place. My boyfriend and i looooove hibachi express. They are closed on mondays and that is a heartbreaking part of loving hibachi express but other than that... we have never had a bad experience and weve eaten here at least 20 times this year alone. Chicken yakisoba, great. Gyoza, great. Veggie yakisoba, great. Fried cheesecake, delicious. Avocado salad, yummy. California roll, asparagus roll, salmon roll, all delish.
