I don't know how else to say this without being too dramatic but, if you haven't eaten here yet, you are truly missing out!!

We went to have lunch at their cafe because we wanted to try something new. We have never had any sort of Russian or Georgian food, ever. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! My mom and partner are so so so sooo picky but they're already making plans to go back. I had the chicken paprikash (Please excuse the spelling if it's incorrect) and it's literally one of my favorite dishes now. My partner had the beef dumplings and she inhaled them, she ate them so fast. My mother ordered the rice pilaf and she's been trying to figure out how they were able to make something so tasty since we've gotten home.

We also checked out their grocery selection. We picked up a few things, a chocolate wafer with some hazelnuts and frozen beef dumplings. We probably would've ended up buying more things but I wanted to do some research on yummiest Russian or Georgian foods before buying anything else.

Finally, the service was absolutely lovely! Everyone was incredibly nice and our food came out so fast! Will definitely be going back soon :)

And, for reference, my mom and I are Venezuelan so if we think Lacomka's food is delish, anyone should have no problem...

I have 6 Ukrainian kids that love to enjoy Borscht at least 3-4 times a year. We always preorder a large jar and it’s always delicious. Last week we thought we had preordered the large jar and upon arrival they only had two liters which was depressing since we drove so far and two liters isn’t enough for the kids.Today we returned planning to buy the big jar when we found out that they changed owners October 2020. That explains why they didn’t understand our preorder LOL The young man stated that their Borscht is much better than the previous owners. I must AGREE It’s much better more chunky. The only thing we disliked is there was quite a few pinto beans in it and we’ve never had Borscht with beans. Wish there was more potatoes and believe it or not less meat. Also bought the beet salad, did NOT like it because it to was loaded with pinto beans. Very very very great place to get authentic Russian food...

Quaint little place. Nice selection on the menu. Traditional and authentic cuisine. Honestly, if you are looking for something different and want to give Georgian/ Ukrainian ( and other) dishes a try this is a good stop. We had the beet salad and the "fur under the coat", they were great. The saleanka soup was ok, unfortunately have had a lot better at other places. The lamb and beef dumplings were good, a bit overdone, but not bad. The service was excellent and explain meals if you need it. The shop is great, has tons of variety of frozen foods, refrigerated items, cookies, fish, cakes (you gotta try the cakes!!!) A nice selection of Georgian wines, kvas, sodas, etc. Lots of Ukrainian products. Honestly, a great place for shopping imported Ukrainian, Moldovan, Russian and other ex Soviet nations (Poland too). Would I return? Absolutely, I would definitely give the restaurant another try, and taste some...

Swung by with my parents to try something new and were glad we did. The cafe part is tiny and gives off that family owned hole-in-the-wall vibe, which often means good food. It didn't disappoint! We got a variety of things to share and found it all to be delicious. Everything had a home cooked taste and came out in European portions, which was a nice change. I'm not from the area but it's hard to find authentic eastern European cuisine so I'd consider this a gem. We perused the market too, which was well stocked with sweets, meats and a variety of items you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. If you're curious about new foods or miss something you got while traveling Europe I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing. The food here was amazing. I also bought a couple of Drunk Cherry Cakes to go for my boys. The food came out piping hot and the smell was heavenly. My boys both enjoyed the cake and can't wait to try the other flavors. There is plenty of parking. The bathroom was clean. The dining area is small but it looked like most meals are to-go. The grocery/store side was well stocked. It was a joy to shop in a store. The owner is very pleasant to chat with. If you have never had food from the Slavic area, this is the place to go and enjoy. I can't wait to go back!
