As much as I wanted to like this burger place in Castle Rock as people I talked to said it was a great burger it just didn’t live up to the hype!
1.A cheeseburger with ketchup and veggies Wanted to see if the cheeseburger had anything special about the meat itself and it was flavorless no real flavor just like McD The French fries were nothing special ate a few of them and that’s that!
2.Not your mamas burger with 1/2 zuke FF but with a $4 dollar up charge (No Thanks) As this burger being $17.95 Well the web site shows the burger with 3 onion rings and what I ordered came with one onion ring lol ok Well again just a plain burger tasting meat nothing with real flavor even after adding all they could to this burger! (Not a fan) but $17.95 plus tax and out the door total of $36 plus I will have to pass on this place cause it definitely didn’t live up to the hype! Maybe they need to take some classes on how to make a flavorful tasting cheeseburger all together to where they don’t have to add a bunch of different toppings to make it taste good! Blah Completely Overpriced Overrated All Around! Huge disappointment!
Atmosphere Plain as Plain can be and you have to enter a makeshift entrance canopy to the main building to go into this establishment! Who ever thought of this idea needs to rethink things cause being the winter time with warm days and cold days with ice in the walk way to the entrance to the establishment you take a huge risk on slipping/ falling down (Injury) Cause the owner is lazy at clearing the snow and or ice to make it safe for customers! Speaks volumes as to what kind of businessman he or she is running this establishment...
Read moreWe went there for dinner after looking at the menu and were pretty pumped to try this place. We asked to sit on the patio and the lady asked us to wait a few minutes. Five minutes passed and she finally comes back over to us to let us know that the table is ready, even though we saw someone else go out there to prep it right away. The sign says wait to be seated but no one seemed interested in doing that. We go sit and it takes another 5-10 minutes for someone to bring us menus. He says someone will be back soon. The rest of our party arrives and another 10-15 minutes pass with no one coming out to our table. We are now 20 minutes in with no water or drink order and no greeting, and we can see 5 wait staff just hanging out near the bar. The restaurant was not full and we were alone on the patio when the other family left. We gave the wait staff a thumbs up and gave them their menus back and they seemed confused or apathetic about us leaving. The menu looked great but I don’t know if we will be back. Extremely poor customer service.
I wanted to add that after leaving this review I was contacted by the manager who indicated he was aware of the problems that day and was following up. He offered me a gift card which I accepted but was not able to pick up because COVID-19 hit a short time later. We have ordered take out on one occasion, which was amazing but have not gone back to the...
Read moreWe love the burgers. The Holy Guacamole is my personal fav and my husband likes the 3 Little Pigs. Oh and the sweet potato fries and truffle fries are also top notch. I’m sure the other items are equally tasty. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is the recent experience. We were in a hurry so we ordered in advance to cut some time but wanted to eat there, rather than try to eat a messy burger while traveling. When we arrived and asked for a table, it was a huge inconvenience. For some reason this was against the rules and normally not allowed, which really didn’t make sense to me. I mean, I understand the intent to take-out is to take-out but we would have been there longer had we not ordered ahead. Plus, I had already tipped 20% since we were planning to eat there. The only reason they made an exception was because it was 2:30 and they had some open tables. And The last time we were there, they gave us a hard time about bringing in our refillable water bottles. So…I know bars don’t allow water bottles but I thought I was going to a restaurant. I always bring my water bottle Into restaurants so I can refill it on my way out and I have never been told I’m not allowed to have it. And these are also restaurants that serve alcohol. Gosh, even brew pubs haven’t said anything about my water bottle. The food was good, but my husband has assured me we won’t...
