After doing a bad online delivery for this one person with my friend's mom she offered me to take me somewhere to eat asking saying if I would choose a cheap place to get something to eat that would be great. So I chose Starbucks as a cheap place to get a latte instead of something to eat so it would be cheaper for her, even though the Starbucks lattes where still extremely expensive, but it's colorado. We went in the Starbucks and walked over to wait for our turn. Once it was our turn the lady greeted us and when my friend's mom told me I was going to order she then stared at me in a way that made me feel so uncomfortable almost like she wanted me to feel that way to her pleasure and then when I got some courage, although feeling very bizarred out, to tell her what I wanted she then spoke the list too fast like she expected for me to understand what she was saying and like she wanted to give me a hard time as well. I didn't tolerate that very disrespectful attitude so I took the initiative to tell her to repeat what she said in a slower way but she seemed very hesitant to do it and I had to speak the list with her in a slow manner like I had to be her authority figure with my friend's mom so she would repeat to me what she told me and she was still hesitant to repeat what she said slowly. When she did we thanked her, which we really shouldn't have, and walked away to wait for the latte until I bumped into this one fat man with an extremely horrible attitude and from what my friend's mom said looked at me like what the F was wrong with me and when I apologized to him for bumping in to him he ignored me and proceeded to go off on the same cashier who gave me a hard time. I knew the guy had a massive problem and I really hated at the time how he behaved in the most disrespectful way I have seen out of the day from so many other people but I am kind of glad the cashier got her karma because she needed to learn something about respect, but while me and my friend's mom were chatting a bit later another barista looked at my latte almost like she was disgusted to serve it while she slipped on the box cut-out coffee holders and called out for my latte and name and then when I went to get my coffee at one of the desks I thanked her for the latte but it was almost like she didn't even want to respond to me to any extent. Me and my friend's mom walked off kind of dissatisfied about the service.
One very important part of business that they need to learn is RESPECT. It is very disappointing that the baristas have come off more mean-spirited than professional. I don't know what their problem is but they need to stop with the disrespect. I am surprised that they think that type of behavior is completely acceptable because this was definitely not the first time they have been very disrespectful in such a mean-spirited way. They have a lot to learn in this world if they think that is the way to live their work lives. It will not get them a far way in life and it would be extremely pitiful to see them carry that same mindset to their future careers. I'm not defending them and their behavior, this is coming from what many employers expect from any employee. They need to turn their behaviors around very quickly if this is how they treat other customers. Absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not one to write reviews and never have because honestly I never have anything bad to say about a place. Even when my service is bad, order is wrong, or it takes a while, I have not left a review because i understand that things happen. The customer service industry in general can be tricky and mistakes happen. That being said, I have never in my life experienced service or treatment as bad as this store and it's employees. To say they are slow or lazy would be a major understatement. What started out as a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up quickly turned into unprecedented treatment by both the night shift and the supervisor on duty. Online the store hours say Sunday: 9:30 pm as a closing time. At the store the sign says Sunday: 10:00 pm as a closing time. My sister and I showed up at 9:04 to see the employees cleaning. In a desire to not make a mess, we went yo the drive thru to get my single order. After sitting there for a minute, I see the employee cleaning look at me directly and turn around to talk to the employee behind the counter. Instead of hearing someone say on the intercom that they closed early, which would be understandable, I see the lights throughout the entire drive through shut off. I couldn't believe it so I parked and walked up to the door and saw that they closed at 10. I knocked and saw the employee cleaning by the front door look up at me and then continue cleaning without any consideration. I knocked once again and asked why they weren't serving during service hours and she gave me a nonchalant and sarcastic shrug as if it didn't matter that I had showed up expecting service. She turned around and walked away. This made me think that they just closed so they could go home early simply because there weren't any customers at that time. I proceeded to call the store and was greeted with a nonchalant "Yeah" by the supervisor Steven. I inquired about the hours and was just told "we're closed". I inquired why the online hours differ and more importantly why the hours on the door differed. Again and again I was just told "we're closed". He proceeded to get more condescending and told me he was just a supervisor. It's important to note at the beginning he told me he WAS the manager. When I pushed about the hours and the treatment i experienced, he defended himself by saying he wasn't a manager and there was nothing he could do. He continued to defend the employees actions and displace the blame. The entire situation could have been avoided by either 1. The employee getting on the intercom and explaining they closed early or 2. The supervisor apologizing for the misunderstanding and saying he would look into changing the sign. I will be calling Renee tomorrow, who he said was the...
Read moreWe love Starbucks! We live for Sunday morning coffee and our happy place 𤣠starbiesssss!
Love it but this one needs some help! Mostly with the people serving. The word is service and it is POOR here.
Waited forever.
The morning baristas here were gossiping about other people, ignoring people in the line, seriously looked annoyed and didnāt serve anyone with a smile.
Hey is 9:00 am letās be kind okay! Sheesh people are still waking up.
Starbucks is supposed to be known for its brand of kind people and customer service, this Starbucks doesnāt promote that it seems.
Also our coffee was made wrong and when asked if they could remake we got dirty looks by the barista who made them originally.
Sorry to burst your day - but that is what Starbucks stands for good drinks, kind people, donāt put your bad days on others if you work at a coffee shop.
I luckily there are many more Starbucks and nicer people at them. Mean people suck.
Be nice.
Serve people well - or just donāt be a barista plenty of other jobs where you donāt have...
