I have been coming to your establishment for quite some time now. Although most of the time the staff gets the order correct there are a few times the employees as your coffee runner stated has 99 things going on in the back of his mind. Today's visit has got to be one of the worst visits so far from not taking the order correctly to not reconfirming he order to being handed the order and us explaining one of the coffees is not what we ordered at the window because they never asked until it they finished there chit chat turned around and gave us the order that clearly had a coffee we didn't order. On to them taking back that one coffee, to wanting to charge to remake that one coffee order that was clearly not what was ordered because according to them they can't use it. I could have understood charge the difference but now this is flat out theft. Let me be very clear if you can't reuse it whatever makes you think I can drink a drink i didn't order. On to going back and forth about who ordered what and who said what. I was in the car I know what was ordered because we order this order everytime we go to your establishment. I can understand standing by your employee but to flat out not be present and say you believe your employee who clearly has 99 other things going on in the back of his mind and to being asked if I'd like to speak to management to no management staff coming to the front as advised by your coffee bar attendant. As your runner said if it's that much of a big deal we'll make it right for you. It wouldn't have been a big deal at all if only the order had been taken correctly. Now I understand your management team is busy but I'm busy to so to being told contact them through social media because that's your problem not Katie my managers problem sounds a bit bogus to me to be honest with you. Your establishment clearly has no value for customer respect, no ownership of responsibility and no leadership. Please when you are no longer being busy please feel free to...
Read moreI used to be a big fan of Cajun 2022 then towards summer of 2023 they had a revolving door of employees and the drinks started to not taste the same. I started to come less and less and switch back to dutch bros.
Any time I order a speciality drinks they are not consistent with flavor and most times taste like watered down coffee or a concoction of flavors that just don't pair well. If it's a iced drink it's always some how warm at the bottom.
I took like a 6 month break this year and tried it again with my bf the day the new owners took over and were working. Brook (I think thats her name) the new owner made my drinks and it was actually pretty good. I believe it was called a apple crumble shaken latte. I came again 2 days later and someone else made the same drink and it was horrible. I tried their French Toast drink this week and it just tasted like they poured a bunch of cinnamon in it and a splash of coffee.
I hate to compare a small business with a corporate bussiness but I feel like it's the best way to leave feedback in this instance. Dutch bros drinks are dynamic in flavor as well as consistent. Cajun is very hit or miss and some specialty drinks should just be left off the menu.
I'd love to see the owners do a secret shop or ask for feed back right at the window so they can improve on what's right and what's wrong.
Lastly I have notice the level of service isn't the same. The employees always seem dry now like they didn't have their morning...
Read moreI don’t want to leave a negative review because I do like their coffee, but I have to mention that they are very shady business-wise. I come here very often and recently have noticed the price is way higher than normal, so I decided to ask for a receipt this most recent time.
They charge 0.50c more than shown on the menu for their specialty coffees, espresso shots are more expensive than shown on the menu, and they also charge for light ice / no ice without that being shown. They also, for some weird reason, charge 16.50% in sales tax? Which if I’m not mistaken, the legal limit in texas is 8.35% in select municipalities and 8.25% in San Antonio. These are small increments, yes, but an extra $1.50 over the advertised price definitely adds up over time if you get it frequently, not to mention if you tip. Tipping a $1 each visit if you go daily, in addition to these hidden charges results in an additional 75$ on average per month outside of what you think you’re paying when you look at the menu.
The coffee is good, and the spot is convenient for most, but if you have any financially centered reasons or ideas that cause you to come here, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere as this is now the most expensive coffee shop out of the 5-6 that I go to, and am definitely taking the extra 3-4 minutes to...
