There is an unbelievable inconsistency in how the smoothies are made and how they taste at this location. I order the exact same thing almost every visit, yet the results are all over the place-sometimes they're overly sweet, other times barely mixed. I order the Gladiator smoothie, which should not include sweetened strawberries, yet about half the time they're added anyway, making the drink undrinkable for me.
I've had gastric sleeve surgery, so it takes me about three hours to finish a 32-ounce drink. When it's served in anything other than a Styrofoam cup, it doesn't stay cold the whole time. Despite explaining this, the employees here are often rude, dismissive, and seem to lack basic customer service skills. On more than one occasion, they've refused to put my drink in the correct cup and instead handed it to me to pour myself.
Today, Sylvia actually told me she needed to call the store owner for "permission" to put my smoothie in a different-sized Styrofoam cup-then made me wait at the drive-thru while a line of cars piled up behind me.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service from Genesis, we arrived before closing time and we have 3 high schoolers with us 2 are foreign exchange students and one student insisted on paying for his own drink. So we place our order and then Genesis walks to the back area immediately without taking one students order. Comes back and says it’s 9 pm on the dot so we aren’t taking anymore orders. I was astounded by how rude she was towards us. And when I asked for her manager, her manager talked to me as if we arrived after 9, I told her we arrived before 9 pm and when she asked Genesis if this was true she said yes so then the manager decided to still take our students order. All the while, two other families walk in after us, well after 9 and they did not once get snarky remarks of them being closed and no longer taking orders. I will be sure to never go back to this location and share with everyone at the gym, my fellow board members and colleagues this awful experience. I know a lot of us on the next door app we’re so excited about this location opening up and the poorly trained staff there has already ruined it. Already on 3 occasions something was messed up or the staff was just flat out RUDE! Customer service is absolutely terrible. I get they’re all young kids but I really don’t care..I’m still a paying customer and you chose that job. Today when I went in and ordered 3 lemon ginger pineapple smoothies..they made them so thick you couldn’t even drink it from the straw when I asked for them to be remade they just grabbed them back told me to pull to the front and proceeded to finish with their drive through line. Umm excuse me I waited in your already slow line to be pulled up to have to wait more because you didn’t make my drink right. No ma’am! I had to walk in and still wait some more for my drinks at which not one of them acknowledged I was standing there. So...
