Decided to stop and eat at the casino as we were in the area. We walked in and sat at the sports bar but decided the atmosphere was a bit overwhelming. We were walking out as i spotted the dimly lit restaurant which was much quieter and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. I ordered a margarita, my daughter and boyfriend a michelada and all were perfectly delicious. We then had the potato taquitos as a starter which were outrageously crunchy and perfectly balanced, deliciously tasting textures combined with a light coating of coleslaw and cream. We then shared their beans and chili soup which again were perfectly balanced flavors of meat and chili and beans with just the right amount of cheese and onions on top.
We then shared the chicken mole tacos which were again prepared perfectly but would have liked some type of fresh veggies served but otherwise were very good.
Last but not least, we had their coconut flan and again we were impressed.
The food was so good, I look forward to returning and highly recommend cafe 111!

Started with the best corn chowder soup I have ever had. My Wife had the Bar b q chicken Cobb salad. I ordered nachos with Carnitas. It was all superb. The food was high quality, well presented, abundant ( the plate of nachos was so big, I told the server that they had their own atmosphere! LoL) and tasty as can be!
The ambiance of this Agua Caliente casino in Cathedral City, CA restaurant is quaint and comfortable.
The service was impeccable, perfectly timed and rivaling any fine dining establishment.
Our Server, Dale, was the best, professional, courteous and very attentive, but not intrusive.
My suggestion? Try it, you won't be...

Each time was beyond disappointing, but yet I continued to patronize the location, giving them grace due to current societal challenges. The food is mediocre and the service is seriously lacking. Why does the hostess INSIST on walking you to the bar at Cafe One Eleven?? And then gives you attitude if you try to proceed unescorted? You don't need a reservation for a seat at the bar. I can walk myself, thank you, and the bartender can provide the menu. People prefer the bar, because they don't want to wait...that's the whole point. I could go on...but why? I...
