Panda Express — Restaurant in Cathedral City

Went to this location for lunch on a Monday at around 1:00pm and it was very busy. The key around waiting in line is ordering on the app. But for some reason you can't add a fountain drink at this location when ordering a meal deal. Weird glitch. Please fix it. The order I placed was ready on time. Everyone on the staff was VERY BUSY and kept the line moving quickly. The kitchen team really hustled and kept all the food well stocked and fresh. I had the black pepper chicken and thought it was great. Steamed rice and chow mein sides and they too were great! Generous portions of each all around for the bowl I ordered. I was pleasantly full after my lunch. The volume level at this location is medium to noisy. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, I wouldn't choose this place. Great experience at this location today. We were immediately greeted by Marlen. There was one customer in front of us which did not take long at all. When it was our turn Marlen kept professional customer service the entire time even while being busy preparing to go orders and helping guests that were dining in. We requested our plates and she offered to make fresh entrees and asked us to wait. We only waited about 5 minutes if that and she even offered us complimentary drinks for the wait. I just want to give Marlen proper recognition for incredible customer service. Probably my best experience at Panda Express ever. She deserves a raise for sure. Hi. Just ordered from Panda Express on Grubhub. A few minutes after placing the order, I tried to add to my order ( a bottled drink ) and I called the restaurant to ask, was told no, could not add to order. In the meantime, the have been 3 notices that my order would be delayed by an hour. I called Grubhub to ask if they could call restaurant and ask about adding the drink, since it was going to be so much later than expected. Grubhub was able to reach the restaurant by phone and confirm that added to the order was No Problem. Cut to delivery, no bottled drink, and driver said he was told by girl at Panda Express No Adding To Orders - one thing for sure I Will Not Be Ordering From Panda Express Ever...
