If I could post a negative star review, I absolutely would because one star is being generous. Firstly this Ross is absolutely overpacked with people at all times, and it is always unorganized. But most importantly, the staff have been very unprofessional every time especially in my most recent visit. I came here late at night after a long day of work to just get a few items (mind you, they did not have much of what I was looking for anyway, and they never do). When I got to the cashier which was an older woman, Who I am assuming was one of the supervisor staff. Not only did she not greet me, but she rudely asked if I wanted a bag, which I kindly declined. I simply paid and no other conversation was exchanged between her and I. However, just as I’m about to leave, I hear her mumble to the other cashier “ wow, I guess people are done looking at me today.” While normally, I would not be offended by such remarks, I think it was a rather rude remark regarding customers. Personally, I am neurodivergent, and I struggle to make eye contact. Had she maybe greeted me in a much more welcoming manner (or at all!), then maybe I would have bothered to look at her and happily exchange conversation. But she was not welcoming nor friendly, and therefore, I only matched the energy she gave. As a consumer, I think the best shopping experiences are when staff are just simply a bit nicer and not mumbling such remarks about their customers. I don’t plan to come to this Ross anytime soon nor...
Read moreI have been familiar with Ross stores for several years, and decided to stroll into this one and see how it compared. It's next door to a Toys R Us in a huge shopping center with lots of parking so that was good. The store seems to be very well-stocked and they have a greeter by the door to help assist customers, which was nice. This way you can ask them what you're looking for and be directed right to it rather than just wandering around in the new store.
Of course, the big selling feature of Ross stores is that they have a lot of name brand items at deeply discounted prices. You never know what you're going to find there. They seem to always have a really good deal on Nike another name brand athletic shoes. It's not uncommon to see Nike shoes that retails for $150, marked down to $50 or $60, but usually they're marked down about 40 to 50%. Then if the item doesn't sell Within a few weeks, they mark things down to clearance prices and put a special tag on them, with the clearance price which is usually around 75% off. Those are the Best Buy's that are really the best deals of course. Even have a section for electronics accessories like phone cases and USB cables, so there's a wide selection of items to choose from for decorating the house or in the clothing...
Read moreWe're all aware Ross is an exceptional place for every day low prices!!! They also have the nicest security, pleasant cashiers, and the worst customer service policies regarding returns. On numerous occasions the cashier has accidentally changed me twice for an item. Well, this time I decided to take action and returned to the store with my receipt and explained what happened. Security stated "we've been having these complaints lately" He apologize and called the manager at least 6-times and explained the situation. After waiting 45-minuets for management to review the store's video I was finally refunded $2.97!!!
The manager didn't even come to apologize for their mistake and/or thank me for my patience. Other stores managers would have at least apologized and offered me discount coupon to use on my next purchase. Public's, gives you the items free and give you double your money back!!!!
Just because We're saving money does not mean our time should be disrespected.
Double check your receipt before you purchase...
