Arby's — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

I ordered a chicken sandwich among other things,and was pulled to the front to wait. I waited about 10 mins and the employee(who is also a manager) finally came out. I am a frequent customer so I see these people regularly. I asked the lady if they forgot about me, she told me the person who made the chicken put it at the wrong temperature and then they dropped one on the floor. I jokingly said thanks for not giving me that one, and she laughed. Not thinking anything of it, because who would. That is until I got home was eating the chicken sandwich and a few bites in saw that the chicken was completely pink!!!!! Obviously I quit eating it immediately, unfortunately it was too late. The next day I started feeling sick and have been for the last 5 days now, can’t eat or drink anything without running to the bathroom. I’ve seen an urgent care provider who has confirmed this was the cause, and have now been given a prescription medicine for nausea/vomiting. Stopped in for lunch. I got the brisket roast beef sandwich. It was very good. The reason I gave the service a 3 star was due to when I ordered the food I waited roughly 15 minutes to receive my food. From what I could hear the cook had made my sandwich but placed it in the wrong wrapper so the server had placed that in a to go order for drive through. The server had asked the cook where my sandwich was and they started arguing back and forth about where the sandwich was and that it was in the wrong wrapper. In the mean time my curly fries had been done and waiting to be served with the sandwich but it had been too long and the server threw those away and gave me a new batch which was appreciated. The two stars for atmosphere was due to the cleanliness of the establishment. The floors were so sticky my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked, the floors were very dirty and the bathroom was awful, piled high with garbage and very dirty. I did not have a good experience tonite. I ordered a roast beef classic combo and a Market Fresh Roast Beef and Swiss sandwich. The person I ordered from did not seem to have a clue as to what I wanted. She said she could put Swiss on roast beef sandwich. I said no I wanted the Market Fresh sandwich because I was taking it home and I lived 50 miles away. After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally received my order and got 2 hot roast beef sandwich’s, one with Swiss cheese on it. I just drove home but of course sandwich was cold. The crinkle fries were very good when hot.

If you no longer have Market Fresh sandwiches, she could have told me. Arby’s has been my “go to” place in past because of this option when my husband wants a sandwich when I’m in Cedar Falls. Guess next time I’ll try...
