I am giving 2 stars because the food was good, that's it. Now for the not so good. My wife and I went through the drive thru. It looked like they were closed for dine in which is fine but ends up being part of my problem with the service. We pulled up to the speaker and spent 5 minutes listening to the staff talk about how they screwed up the orders of the cars in front of us. Keep in mind there were 2 cars in front of us and nobody inside. Once the lady was ready to take my order I had to repeat myself 6 times - 3 for my wife's order and 3 for mine. When we got to the window to pay she said $15 and some change and then another lady asked if there was an add on for a second chicken sandwich. There was not and the total of $15 was what I expected for our order. I did not get a receipt but didn't think anything of it at the time. When we got the order my wife's sandwich had onions which I asked them to leave off (3 times). Outside of that the food was good. A week later I look at my checking account and they debited me for $21 so I was charged for the extra chicken sandwich I never received. All you have to manage is the drive through. There were at least 3 people behind the counter working. I don't understand how you can't keep 3 cars in the drive thru straight when you don't have to manage any dine in customers plus I was over charged $6. It's a week later so I am not going to call about the over charge but you can rest assured I won't be going back to this Wendy's. It is really a shame, I...
Read moreMy husband went through the drive thru tonight. When he got home he realized he was missing a 10 piece nuggets for our son. He drove back to the Wendy's and had to wait in another long line while his food sat at home and got colder (both my burger and his were not warm and don't get me started on the cold, limp fries). He finally gets home for the second time and they gave him spicy chicken nuggets!! I don't know what it is about the Cedar Falls store but they cannot seem to get it together!!! We have had numerous times (every time actually) that we arrive home only to find we are missing at least one thing. There also seems to be an older woman who is always making a scene at the last window, cussing and acting like a toddler with those temper tantrums she's throwing. Our kids keep convincing us to give it one more try because they like frosty's but I'm tired of making 2 trips and eating cold, sloppy food. If you don't like working there maybe you should quit or be fired? Certainly seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to manage the drive thru orders when the dinning area isn't even open right now but I guess not. I've tried to talk to a manager before but no one really seems to care there. Tonight was the end. 2 trips, cold and sloppy food, and we still didn't get what...
Read moreThey give us a false name of "Vanilla" at the drive thru. They say we can substitute a frosty-ccino for a meal drink, but can't find the button for it, then after not being able to find the substitution button they decide that we can't substitute the drink, so we order the frosty-ccino in addition to the meals drink. We have to tell them THREE times we want it chocolate flavored. We all order the same meal with the exception of one without cheese, pretty simple for fast food( you would think). We get to the window to pay, clearly they don't know how to make a frosty-ccino and got the flavor wrong even though we told them THREE times we wanted chocolate we ended up with vanilla. When I mention we ordered 3 sodas with our meals and only received 2 the lady huffed and puffed with a "ugh oh my god" response. Our fries were clearly old and cold. Im surprised they got the no cheese hamburger correct. The burgers were made sloppily. It was obvious no one there cared about their jobs. I had my brother, sister in law and their 9 month old baby who was upset so to have to wait even longer in FAST FOOD, was very irritating on all of us. We looked at the receipt and whoever Renilla/Renella is and their crew needs to either be fired...
