Jun 11, 2024 I passed by this establishment for over a year and finally tried it yesterday. I ordered the catfish and shrimp basket, plus a slice of cheesecake, which was not put in my bag. Before I could even take a bite, I could tell the catfish and shrimp were overcooked. After taking a bite, it was a no for me. The catfish was overcooked and appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp as it was super dry. I threw it away and decided to cut my losses.
Today, I went back for my cheesecake. As I explained to the young lady that I was there the day before and that one of my items was missing, she took the receipt from me and just glared at me, the receipt, and back to me. It was clear to me that, in her mind, I was not being truthful. Finally, without speaking to me, she retrieves the cheesecake, places it in a bag, and pushes it toward me. I stood there blankly for a second in disbelief at the level of rudeness I was experiencing. I look in the bag and only see the cheesecake. So, I asked for the strawberry topping, which came with it. I am told, "You didn't pay for the topping. Oh, I didn't realize it didn't come with it. I then asked well, since I had to come back for my cheesecake, can you give it to me? "No, you have to pay for it."
Wow! That was all I could think. Not only did she fail to apologize for their mistake, but she didn't care even to try to make it right. I mean, damn, would giving me the topping going to bankrupt you? On my way out, I made it known I would not be back, and she made it clear she was ok with that.
Oh, one more thing: Can you ask your employees to pull up their pants while working? It's just disgusting staring at somebody's underwear while...
Read moreThe service is terrible! I often frequent the Desoto location and thought that since Ahn owns both locations, the service would be equivalent. I waited in the drive-thru window for 15 minutes before I had to get the attention of the wait staff at the window. When the young lady finally opened the window, she did not remember what my order was. I had to reorder my food! After another 5 minute wait, I reversed to see if there were other patrons inside who were waiting. There were none! I then pulled up to the window AGAIN and watched while the two young ladies stood and engaged in a conversation. No one mentioned to me what the status of my order was nor did they even attempt to look busy while they waited to fulfill my order. I watched them converse with each other as well as the cook (I presume) until I watched as an order was filled. To my horror, the order was bagged and sat at a different window inside! At this point, I was at Mason's drive-thru for 35 minutes and furious. As I pulled up I saw a young lady walking towards the store, I was behind someone so shorttly after I pulled up they were being assisted. When I pulled up to my surprise it was the same lady that I saw walking as I pulled up which means she didn't wash her hands and If she did it was not according to the food handlers requirements. Just nasty. But wait her nasty hands matched her attitude. Girl get it together this is your job. They advertise Catfish on the menu I dont know what that was but it was not Catfish. It was fried so hard that the crust was separated from the meat about an inch. This is why the pieces seem so big.
