Amy's Ice Creams — Restaurant in Cedar Park

Honestly, we love Amy's! This location...just isn't it for us. The flavors were off, we got the wrong flavor altogether, they didnt even ask if we wanted our mixins crushed or on top (so he just put them on top and got attitude when I asked about it), and the vibe is just way off in this location. It's just not the warm and fun place I know from Austin...we will keep going to the Austin locations and hope this one gets it together but from the lackluster employees and decor...it's going to be a long way. Also, the selection is super small compared to the other ones and I swear the prices have gone up...for a tiny and a small it was...

Update, 5/13 @ 2:40 pm per the request of the store owner, I phoned to speak with the owner/manager. This person was not in, I spoke with Gabe, and he assured me that their was a breakdown in communication because they didn't run out of Mexico vanilla ice cream on Mother's day. In the spirit of transparency, I ended up with chocolate and not Mexico vanilla. So I hope next time I visit I will get what my tastes buds truly want. Let's keep enjoying this delicious ice cream. 5 ⭐️ for the manager Michael! Came in around 9:15pm and Michael was rocking it knocking out orders and assisting his staff. (Notice I said assisting, not bossing). The sweet girl at the front counter is still learning (and doing very well) and not once did I see Michael demean her in anyway. He simply stepped in and helped her out in a calm and caring way. HE is the reason this Amy’s location is so great!! Great bosses make great employees and great employees make great businesses. Cheers to Micheal and the amazing staff at the Cedar...
