The food was excellent. Salsa was very good consistency and taste was spot on. I had a chicken fajita. The chicken was tender peppers and onions perfectly cooked. This dish was seasoned to perfection. I normally leave the beans and do not eat them but OMG they were so good I ate those before my main dish. My husband was wondering if I was ok. I told him they were a must try. Oh so good. Their pop was mixed well. Fast and friendly service with a smile. Sorry, it smelled and looked so good that the pictures were an after thought.

Drove past last night after eating at a subpar restaurant nearby and we looked up reviews and made plans to try it the next day. We ordered the Camarones La Diabla and Ceviche for our entrees, with sides of Chile Rellano, Chiles Toreados, Cheese Quesadilla, and Pork Tamale. One of the best tamales I've ever had. We also got the Agave Margarita and a couple draft beers. Did not disappoint. Large portions, great prices, flavorful. Also great vegetarian and pescatarian options. The staff was fantastic! We will be back soon.

We were visiting from out of town and came here because one of my husband's favorite Disney movies growing up was El Dorado and he's a dork. Not going to lie, based on the outside I probably would not have chosen this place but am so happy we did. The food was amazing, the service was quick and super friendly. It has been added to our list of places to definitely go back to if we are ever in town again, and we will definitely recommend it to our coworkers that travek in and out of Cedar Rapids.

We drove into town from our weekend stay in Amana, IA, craving good Mexican food for a mid-afternoon snack. This place did not disappoint!

We were seated quickly and the friendly server took our drink order right away. Chips, salsa, and our drinks were brought out immediately. My tall draft Modelo Negra pour was nice and cold with a lime wedge. My wife and I then ordered the Tacos Del Mar, with grilled shrimp, to split along with a side of refried beans and guacamole. The salsa brought out with the chips had a great fresh flavor.

The food followed quickly after our order. The shrimp in the tacos had a great seasoning and grilled to perfection, the beans and rice were excellent, and the guaca.ole was delicious! We definitely found a gem in the city of Cedar Rapids when it comes to Mexican food! I recommend stoping in and at least trying the grilled...

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! We met up with family after a long drive. There had been a bad thunderstorm so we got in pretty late. Thankfully, this restaurant was open until midnight. The staff were so friendly and exuberant. It was my young son's birthday and they sang to him and comped a really delicious churro dessert. They seemed to truly enjoy singing to him and it wasn't just going through the motions like some other places!

I had a pineapple margarita that was truly to die for! The only small complaint I have is that there were 3 TVs near our table that were loud and all playing a different channel, making it a bit hard to catch up with family we hadn't seen in awhile.

I would honestly consider going to Cedar Rapids just to eat...

Me and my daughter stopped in on a Thursday at around 2:00 p.m. not busy at all. Absolutely amazing food. The chips we got two orders of them. Both were warm and soft. Queso was amazing. Had the steak tacos. The corn tortillas were absolutely delicious. Not sure who the owner is or if the waiter was the owner but very nice. Very pleasant to speak to very attentive. In my opinion, this is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Absolutely delicious!!! And it's good to support small local businesses! I definitely will be back! Plus you could tell everything's made in house the freshness...
