Firehouse Subs Westdale Mall — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

Ordered there back in 2018 according to the app and all I remember is them messing up my order. I figured I was probably being unreasonable and holding a grudge when they made a mistake. Unfortunately, I decided to give them another shot. I placed my order online again, walked up to the online order pickup location and my sandwich wasn't there so I waited patiently. After 15 minutes watching others walk in order, get there food and leave, I went to ask what was going on. Thank God, they had my order hidden behind the counter the whole time. 15 minutes I stood there, 4 employees all made eye contact with me, never once did anybody ask or inquire why I might be there. Maybe if you are going to have a pickup location, you should utilize it. I guess no amount of training can teach what I think would be common sense. I will gladly patronize...

I have eaten here a few times. When they first opened they were AWESOME! But quickly quality went downhill. I have eaten here with a friend of mine who also left a review on here and we were given the same canned response everyone gets on here. Very alarming.... and please give us another chance to do better.... well I gave them another chance tonight! At 830 I ordered 2 subs and I came in as they were cleaning I watched as my bacon for my sub went through the oven on a roller and then drop off the edge enter the counter into a pile of crumbs and whatever else they were pulling from behind the machines and then the guy picked up the bacon with his bare hands and put on my sandwhich..... I already see health violations here..... second chance and all they have proved is they CAN NOT make a sandwhich properly and safely!!!!! DO...

I’m giving a star because I have to if I could I would give no stars. I had no pickles that come with the sandwich there response was they where out, ok that’s fine whatever. I order Mac and cheese they said they where out, ok sure. They then substituted it with soup instead of refunding and not calling me at all both reasons stated were we don’t have your information from the online order. I also ordered cookies and what I got out of three one was right. I called and asked about the order and was told that grub hub handles the online order info so we can’t do anything for you only give you free stuff. They also lied about what my friend getting the sandwiches did and said saying that they had him call me but he had no phone.
