I wish I could give it zero stars. This company employs unethical people to scam customers. I came in to buy a ps4 pro bundle, and this is my very first time coming to Gamestop. While I was there, a second employee was talking to me about the benefits of being a pro member. I was intrigued and informed him that I buy games at garage sales all the time, so the 10% increase trade in value would be a bonus. I also told them how I had games from years ago that I could let go of. Of course they were as excited as I was about it, and walked me through the Gamestop app and how to put in trade in value requests. After seeing the value of some of my games through YOUR company's app, I agreed to sign up as a pro member. I have zero use for the Game informer or pop toys. Here I am a week and a half later with 3 dozen games (xbox, ps2, PSP, Sega, Nintendo 64,etc), and I'm told you don't take in PSP or PS2 games whatsoever, so there's half of my box. Then, you don't take in the other games either because of date or accessories. ABSOLUTELY AT NO TIME did anyone say this would ever be an issue at sign up. In fact, your employees ENCOURAGED it. Your app even brings them up. As far as I'm considered, your company scammed me out of my money towards a totally useless pro membership. As a new customer to Gamestop, I'm so disgusted that I will no longer be a customer unless this is made right. I hope your employees didn't lie to me about my expensive warranty I also purchased for my ps4 because as of right now I don't trust any business I've done here. That's very unsettling, and also why people are turning towards online for purchasing(no human interaction=no lies to your face). Plus, it's better to recognize a reputable business. How sad is that? You have manpower, and you're company is less trustworthy and reliable than an electronic transaction. Yes, it was a mere $15, but at the price of a customer who would've...
Read moreI went in there for an Xbox it came out with an Xbox s series unfortunately the system itself wasn't exactly what we wanted but didn't know that until we got home and tried to get it up and going but that's probably because my son is seven and I'm 40 and I am definitely way out of touch with my gaming nowadays so the system itself a little too complicated for my son and I don't see him to be of any assistance but the store and the employees were amazing I was the only person in there because they were about to close but they definitely went out of their way to help me pick this item for my son for Christmas now if I can exchange it for an Xbox One with no problems I'll have to leave an even better review but if I'm stuck with this system it's kind of my own fault for not doing the research a little better because like I said the store itself clean and plays are great you're super nice and actually really funny and I was in and out in less...
Read moreI was in the market for a new xbox and stopped up the street at video game etc. They just kept giving me the run around so I walked out. I look down and saw GameStop and thought well while I was here why not. Walked in and was greeted instantly. I told them what I wanted and game me a fair deal for both of us. Not only that but they sold me a couple games that worked perfect for what I wanted. Fast forward 4 months later. My brand new xbox died. I called Microsoft and once again got the run around. So once again taking a slim chance I walked in and explained what was going on. 5 mins later I walked out with a brand new xbox one upgraded to the slim, got the battlefield edition, and another game. They went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of and had what I needed. I would recommend...
