One bad experience has turned me off from this store. Luke, a manager, was incredibly rude to me. I had pre-ordered Mario Kart 8 because a sales rep had promised a great "pre-order" bonus of receiving a free game download with purchase (you got to select one of 5 titles). I normally hate pre-ordering, but this was a great bonus, so I went ahead and pre-ordered. When I went to pick up the game today, I asked where the pre-order download code was, and the rep informed me it was in the game packaging... I asked "How is this special to pre-orders then?" he informed me it was not, anyone who purchased the game got it. I was slightly upset, because I felt lied to, so I asked him if he was sure, because the sales rep who convinced me so adamantly thought it was for pre orders only... the guy at the counter (who was nice enough) called his manager Luke, to be sure, Luke informed me the same, I told him I felt mislead and he said smugly "Well you can just not buy it then, I don't care!" and then turned around and walked into the back. I was shocked, a simple "Sorry about the mis-communication" would have been fine. Not only was I shocked, but the two customers behind me also were shocked, they walked out with me and said "They are some sort of scammers here, we will not be shopping here anymore, we are gonna shop at Gamestop". Read moreI purchased two items from this store earlier today. During that interaction, I was not given a receipt. I came in less than two hours later to return the item, and when I told the employees that I had not received a receipt the employee that had originally helped me said in front of several customers that that wasn't true and that he had given me one. He argued with me about this and refused to admit fault. The second employee that was actually processing my refund said that they weren't supposed to refund me because it was a used item and I didn't have a receipt but that he would do it. I told him that I didn't think I was ever coming back and he said "I don't know what to tell you. You've had an attitude since you came in here". If that is the level of customer service this business offers, I don't want to be a customer.
