I will never go back to Pet Smart. I got my dog back in April 2019 from a shelter, as he was adopted, so he was not looking the best. My first appointment I went in and they denied him because we did not complete his physical yet, understandable. ( first time owning a dog I had no idea what I was doing ) Second appointment, they didn't have my on the schedule so we had to reschedule his appointment. Finally April 30th they took my dog, did AMAZING, loved it. Now as his hair is getting out of control and I can't seem to get it under control myself I decided to take him take. As I scheduled my appointment they said they needed to see his records again, I rolled my eyes because we were just in there in April, whatever not a problem. Then we take him in there today and they deny my dog. Why because a vet did not sign off on his distemper vaccination and the shelter dispensed it.? Which remind you is one that ANYBODY can dispense? Not only does that NOT make sense, but I do have the stickers on the sheet that ARE DATED, not just hand written with the expiration date on it. However, the rabies vaccination IS dated from a vet clinic. Remind you also they took him in April just a few months ago. I don't think that is right to take my dog 1 time however reject him because a shelter gave him a vaccination that DOES NOT have to be dispensed by a vet is wrong. I will now never shop or give services to Pet Smart. Which is very upsetting because they did a WONDERFUL job back in April, but if you have poor service that's where I...

Had my boyfriend take my aussie to this petsmart to get her a nice trim up since she's traveling over the road with him. I called and made the appointment myself and asked for a luxury package because her skin is kinda dry. They proceed to give her Furminator luxury package. Having common sense and looking at my dog they should've known she didn't need it and should've asked my bf if he was sure that's what he wanted for her. I was on the phone with him when he checked her in I specifically asked him to ask the women what package she got and all she said was luxury. Which is what I wanted. Not luxury Furminator. They proceeded to actually only cut half of my dogs hair. Half of her sani was done and her front left "feathers" weren't even done 😭😂 at this point it's just an actual joke how terrible of a job they did with my aussie. And unfortunately since my bf is over the road he couldn't even stay for me to please ask them to fix it. Upon checkout my bf literally said she didnt need Furminator and the lady told him it's what was requested which isn't true because I was the one who called and made the appointment. As someone who works at a different location, This was actually unacceptable. You're always supposed to repeat to the pp what they're getting for their package and hair cut wise for their pet. This was just honestly not a good experience all around....

During our recent visit to Petsmart in Cedar Rapids, we were absolutely thrilled to find a unique Halloween advent calendar and a perfect Halloween costume for our West Highland White Terrier, Parker. The selection of seasonal items was impressive, and it was clear that the store put thought into the range and diversity of products they offer for our furry companions.

While shopping, I did notice a few areas of improvement. The store organization could benefit from a bit more attention to detail. Some items weren't in their designated spots, which made shopping a slight challenge. Additionally, cleanliness could be given an extra nudge to ensure a more pristine shopping environment for customers and their pets. Lastly, during our checkout, the lanes were a tad on the longer side. A few more open registers during peak times might alleviate this issue.

Nonetheless, our overall experience was largely positive. It's worth celebrating that we were able to find exactly what we were looking for amidst the vast selection. Parker is set to be the star of the season, thanks to Petsmart! We’ll certainly be returning for more of...
