Iowa Brewing Company — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

Hands down great service been here a few times though out the last 3 years living in Iowa. Would recommend it on many levels. First off great customer service through out. The staff is very polite, I have been here on holidays or days after holidays.

If you like dark beer I would recommend number (#) 12 on the board Double Stuffed Oja. As of 11-05-2021 price about $7 for a glass and up. Smooth and has flavor of a Coco, vanilla, and a hint of expresso as I can tell of course, I'm probably wrong, but would recommend it to anyone who wants a dark beer that Is smoother than a Guinness I would recommend. If you're looking for high quality beer in a pure beer environment while in Eastern Iowa, this is the place to be. No food served but you can bring your own if you'd like; on occasion food trucks rather vendors show up. No less than 15 house-brewed beers, ciders, and hard seltzer variants on tap, plus a few guest handles. Wide range of styles and alcohol levels to please every pallet. I highly recommend the Oja Baltic Porter and the OreOja (chocolate sandwich cookie notes, but not overpowering). It's named in honor of my late brother but even without that family tie, it is uniquely delicious. I am an online beer reviewer that stopped by on my way through town this past Thursday, February 23rd at 7:30pm. This brewery is supposed to be opened until 9pm on Thursdays. When I approached the taproom doors, I thought it was odd that there was no one inside, maybe they just weren't busy. I soon found out that they were closed. The front door was locked and me jiggling it only made the bartender inside shake her head at me as if I am crazy or something. Nope, just trying to visit your business during regular business hours.
