Donut Monster — Restaurant in Cedarburg

I stopped at Donut Monster in WF Bay Sunday morning about 8:30. Having never been before, i was excited to try their donuts as I heard they opened a new store in Cedarburg and figured they must be good if they have several locations. Unfortunately, the excitement didn't last long. I requested a dozen donuts and tried 2, gave 2 to two different friends. My salted chocolate ring donut seemed like it was cooked in oil too long and was quite flat, while the Carmel ring donut seemed under cooked. I've been a big fan of Donut Monster since it became a fun destination to go to during covid, but frequenting the Cedarburg location recently has really put my love for DM over the top.

Yes, the donuts are always, always great, but, the breakfast sandwich is where this place really shines. So craveable, and every one I've tried has been amazing (THAT CHEESE THOUGH).

I love being able to sit down and eat a sandwich and a donut with my family, then head up to the little bonus play space in Cedarburg for my little one to run out her sugar rush. Every time we go, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We go every weekend...

It's true that phenomenal, handmade donuts are more expensive than the mass processed junk you'll get at a grocery store, or a national chain, but the higher price pays out exponentially in flavor and experience.
