In the annals of dining escapades, none have plunged into depths of disappointment as profoundly as my recent visit to this culinary calamity. Picture, if you will, a theater of edible misery where every dish plays the role of the villain. The food was not just lacking in flavor; it was a gustatory ghost town where taste itself seemed to have fled in terror. Each bite was an exercise in futility, as the promise of culinary delight evaporated into the air with haunting mockery.
Now, as if the unseasoned nightmare was not enough, my senses were further assaulted by the Aperol Spritz — or shall I say, Aperol Spritz-that-was-not. Half-filled glasses stood before us like monuments to mediocrity, a tragic testament to a beverage derailed from its effervescent destiny. One might wonder if this was some avant-garde interpretation of minimalism; alas, it was but negligence masquerading as service.
And, behold the financial dagger that pierced through this culinary betrayal — a staggering $250+ bill. Yes, you heard that right. For this king's ransom, tranquility could have been purchased, joy tasted, or at least the cruelty of blandness avoided. Instead, it was squandered in a place where expectations were not just dashed; they were incinerated in the flames of despair.
In conclusion, this establishment should be avoided as one would sidestep a pit of quicksand. I shall never darken its door again, seeking instead an eatery where taste is embraced with open arms, and hospitality is not merely a word but a symphony played to perfection. Here, alas, you will find only echoes of...
Read moreThis is our second time here. We wanted to give the restaurant another try. The first time was a few months after they opened, I had chicken Marsala. Chicken was thin, tough and bland. I don't recall what my husband ordered. He didn't like his dish as well. We were very disappointed.
Last week we decided to give C'Amore another try. The staff and drinks were fine. I had the Dirty Martini and my husband had the Black Manhattan. The food was disappointing and not worth the price. First the bread, it was cold and hard. We did like the balsamic and olive oil that came with it. I had the Grilled Ribeye $27+ that came with fries and steamed veggies. Unfortunately, they ran out of fries. They added more veggies in place of fries. My dish came out cold. Blue cheese on top of steak was bland and the butter didn't melt on my steak. It was not a warm plate. My husband ordered Short Rib Ravioli $25+ which was disappointing. It was a small portion with maybe six ravioli on the dish. Not worth the price. My husband was still hungry.
Can't say we didn't give them another try. Overall, staff and drinks were fine. Food was not. We were very disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back. If you do go, make reservations ahead of time. Small waiting area and gets a...

We arrived at around 7:15 p.m. There were lots of parking spaces available. We were told that the wait would be about 20 minutes so we got our name on the waitlist. She got our cell number and we waited in our car because there was not much room to wait inside the facility.
We were called in after 28 minutes.
The facility is just about the right size for a typical neighborhood restaurant. It was clean. The women's restroom has a single stall and it has a broken toilet paper dispenser. I told a staff about this and she said the manager knew about it but had not done anything about it.
Our waitress was nice and prompt. She has a nice smile. She got our drink orders, and then our food order. We ordered crispy calamari, shrimp scampi, lobster ravioli, buttered pasta & milk (kid's meal), Italian cream soda, and a latte. Everything came at the right time.
The calamari was good. The entrees were good too but seemed small in portion. I was still hungry after. They did not have the flourless chocolate cake and tiramisu so we passed on desserts.
Our total came to about $75 before the...
