I have been to Café Rio 4 times. First time was lunch with the office, they got my order wrong (I asked for no cilantro, it had cilantro.) Second time, again, I asked for no cilantro but there was cilantro on my food. Third time we ordered out at the office, I mentioned to a coworker that they messed up my order the first two times and was not sure I wanted to try it again. I was convinced otherwise and again they messed up the order. At this point it became an inside joke around the office and every time someone suggested Café Rio everyone would bring up how bad they are at following orders and laugh. Well eventually the fourth time came, it was stated multiple times to not put cilantro on my food and it was even requested that my food be titled / named “No Cilantro” to be sure, and you guessed it they again put cilantro on the food. This of course was the high light of everyone’s day and Café Rio has become the laughingstock of the office. So much so that it is brought up in meetings as a perfect example of a bad example and there is a companywide ban on ordering food from Café Rio in risk that our company is seen to support their customer service ethics. Due to these experiences, I have convinced friends and family to also avoid this company. The market is full of similar companies providing similar menu items. No need to waste time, money, and effort on Café Rio. I would give less then one...
Read moreThe customer service was atrocious treating me like I had no idea what I was talking about when it came to my online order not being in their system. I showed them my confirmation number and that I had it through them and that I already paid for it and they decided to continue to act like it never existed. This was during a busy time for them which is why I ordered online so I didn’t have to wait in the line. The manager I’m assuming told me I have to go into the line and wait their so they can make my food their Keep in mind I wanted my food at 1:30 it’s now 1:50 I get through the line and at the register I said I wasn’t paying more money as I already paid online. I showed them the card I paid with and the manager then said a snarky remark basically saying that they decided to be nice to me and give that food to me for free. The portions I received where not consistent at all as one had a lot more food in it then the other. One was overflowing with food and the other had little to non. I’m extremely mad at the servers I received and I would never recommend them to anyone I encounter as they are just rude to everyone who walks and sloops the food in the tray. It is not my fault their system failed so I don’t know why they treated me like it was all my fault and that I inconvenienced them with...

You know its a sad day when your $9 burrito receives less filling than the two tacos ordered after it. You want some cheese? Heres a pinch because I'm too lazy to get some more cheese. You want some beans hand rice? Half a scoop of each because why would someone buying a nine dollar burrito want a decent amount of food. Never have I been so dissipointed in my food here. Hell, del taco's $5 bean burrito containes more food than the lazy prick put in my burrito. Both cashier and the fool who lazily tossed my burrito together were incompetent and will keep me from returning. 'Oliver' shorted me on my food and whoever the gal was at the cash register was painfully unenthusiastic.
The only person that was worth something was the blonde gall who graciously loaded up my lettuce and pico de gallo. She smiled, was nice, and actually gave a damn about keeping her job. Great work.
For the others? You are worthless and a waste of my time and money. Shame on you....
