China Taipei — Restaurant in Centennial

We have been doing pickup here for years but after this experience we wont be back. We placed a scheduled order for 5:30pm around 2:00pm. At 5:40 I called and they said the delivery driver forgot the order. Then said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes leading me to believe it hadn't even been cooked. I decided to go to the restaurant because we dont live far away. The staff offered no explanation other than the delivery time was at dinner time and they get a lot of orders. I asked for the $5 tip for the driver to be returned since I was now the driver. This was originally challenged but after reviewing the receipt they gave the tip back. There was no other compensation provided to include comping part of the meal as an apology. Unfortunately this is the second time they have dropped the ball badly on a scheduled order. If you cant provide this type of service please don't offer it on the ordering website. I wish we could continue to support this family business but the service and lack of service recovery is so bad we wont be back again. As an aside, the food inst bad, better than some other places we've tried....

Absolutely the most disrespectful, horrible service I've ever encountered in my 50 yrs on this planet! I placed a order with this restaurant through GrubHub. After 1 hr waiting my order never arrived. This restaurant delivers orders themselves and does not use GrubHub drivers.After waiting I called to see where my food is and was placed on hold for 15 min. Then a lady finally came back on the phone and said they was not going to delivery my food because I did leave a tip on the GrubHub app. WTH! First off I always tip very generously after I actually receive my order not before and I told her this. She then demanded I tip or I'm not getting my order .Wow who does business like this? Now I don't mind tipping as I always do but refusing to deliver and aggressively demand a tip is very unprofessional and unethical business practices.This is not the way you treat customers and obviously they care nothing about customers.Regardless if a customer tips or not you don't refuse to deliver a product that was paid for in advance. This place is very bad and I don't recommend doing...

Hot and sour soup was very thick, the flavor was almost there, it just wasn't very hot and wasn't very sour. Decent amount of tofu in the soup. Wonton soup was mediocre, the broth tasted like it was made from an instant broth mixture. No depth. The sesame chicken was okay, small pieces (which I like but my husband doesn't) and wasn't very flavorful. The salt & pepper chicken wings were my least favorite. The chicken was VERY chewy and the batter was overdone and very greasy. And not much salt & pepper flavor. The Singapore noodles looked good, but flavor wasn't there. Very one-dimensional in taste. Extremely bland, I was wishing for salt or pepper or soy sauce or literally thing thing to help the dish but there wasn't anything to save it.

The servers were very friendly, and made sure to try extra hard to communicate what you want, which I appreciated.

The interior is very outdated but that doesn't matter if the food were any good. But it wasn't. Very bummed with our overall experience here but hopefully they'll get better...
