Very clean. Cool to see rabbits all around. Plenty of restaurant options close by. Breakfast seems to be the same at all locations. I wish the bathrooms were larger. We came back to Colorado to see a concert at Red Rocks and wanted to stay at this hotel because we were familiar with the area and were pleased with the rooms. We arrived early on Thursday to let them know we were here. The room wasn't ready yet, said it would be about 12:30. We went to eat, came back to find out the second floor was going to be shampooed so if we chose the second floor, we would have to move since we were leaving on Monday. We told him to put us on the third floor instead, only the ELEVATOR was out of order. So we had to take the stairs. When we got to the second floor, apparently the sewer was backed up because it smelled bad! Our room was great, no maid service unless you request it. I can make the beds myself. If we needed towels, toilet paper or anything, we just asked. The pool was closed, but we have one at home. We came for the scenery, not a hotel room. We didn't partake in the breakfast because we had things to do every day. Walmart is around the corner and so is Sams Club. Restaurants are every where. The microwave worked but wouldn't rotate. We turned our food ourselves. The refrigerator rubber seal needs replaced. I notified the front desk. It's a great location, but I think the hotel needs a little TLC. We would definitely stay here again if needed.

After staying here for 18 days at paying the rates of $85-$102 per nite throughout our stay we were met with an acceptance for a late check out to then being told we had to be out by noon for they were understaffed and could not honor a late checkout even with a charge of $10 an hour so as we had been unfortunate enough to of been in an auto week totaling our car this last week we are now sitting out front on the curb waiting for a ride thanks to this hotel denying even a late check out or even an extension with reasoning being noise complaints from a nite everyone in our room was asleep before 9 pm as we had an appointment at 5:30 am. To come home only to be told we couldn't extend and wouldn't be honored with even a late check out. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST!!!! They have no consideration or even sympathy for paying customers that have had a hard enough time they only seem to enjoy making us feel worse as we wait for our ride to get here.. as they even demand that we give them their carts back immediately!!! I feel God must hate me this week as I am trying to do all that I can.

I woke up in the middle of the night to several bugs in my bed biting me. When I smashed them, they were full of blood. I brought one down to the front desk who said it was a bed bug and got me a new room and put my clothes in the high heat dryer because “according to our training that is bed bug protocol.” The next day when I spoke to the manager about our experience, thinking surely they would not charge us full price for that night because it was awful to a) be bitten by bed bugs and b) have to move beds in the middle of the night, there should be some restitution. I was told —very rudely by management—it wasn’t even a bed bug, it was just a beetle. Friends, you decide if you want to stay in a hotel with “beetles” which suck your blood in the middle of the night. As for me and my kids, we went to a different hotel with fewer “beetles” and less gaslighting.

Only reason i am giving a 2 star is the location. 1- Very rude service 2- First i was given a room which was under maintenance, I walked into the room and the curtains were down and a ladder was in the room (4th Floor) . When i spoke to the front desk they gave me a very normal attitude like no big deal when 6 of us have already moved with our luggage in the room. 3- I was given a second room (room 209) second floor and the exhaust was not working. I when complained about it, the manager showed up with the front desk person and told me that they can give me another room but if i find anything wrong with the room they can refund me the money and i can find another hotel. Very rude. 4- Breakfast was the worst i have ever seen in any hotel. No Boiled eggs, No fruits, No variety on cereal. Juice machine was not working, and no replacement and only one choice of fruit yogurt(no flavors) Very bad smell at dining place. 5- No Kids TV Channels 6- The hot tub, was taken off at COVID and was not mentioned on the web site and was a bummer for the kids, 7- Smallest Ping Pong table which was sitting out door so nobody can use. 8- AC would turn off automatically and would not cool even at 60 degree. 9- No daily cleaning, and you have to request cleaning everyday and take the attitude from the front desk. 10- My booking was for 6 people and we will get supplies for 4 people.. 4 towels, 4 cups 4 everything. 11-No covers on Sofa bed or extra blanket and when i asked for one to my surprise the person asked me for the old sheet or blanket which i want to replace.

UPDATE: This is the email i received after having a review "The staff did do their job in moving you to the new room (and again moved you because the fan in bathroom was not working. the final room we moved you to everything in the room was check out to make sure everything was working properly for the new room. At the point of keep moving you because there were issues with other rooms you were assigned. At the last room being inspected to make sure everything was in working order. We at the point being moved so much was unable to accommodate you and your family and offered if we couldn't accommodate you, you were given the option to cancel your reservation with full refund."

So this is a disclaimer that even if you book this hotel, and pay in advance , there is a possibility that when you show up at the hotel , they do not have a room for you ready/ available/ in working condition so they can offer you a free refund or your money . This will be absolutely fine...

Pretty outdated, lots of older equipment, minimal channel options, WiFi was pretty good. Elevator was terrifying. Made some sketchy noises and would close on you as you were getting on. No vending options, only a small “store” that had items priced so obscenely that all I could do was laugh. The idea of charging 6$ for a small Gatorade and 4$ for a candy bar was beyond reality to me. 5$ for 2 ibuprofen etc. it just seemed like such a desperate money grab and without the kind of amenities to back those kinds of inflated prices was again just so delusional all you can do is laugh. Room was cramped. It was listed as a double queen suite but the two queen beds shoved into an area clearly meant for one bed made for almost impossible movement around the area and left everyone sharing the central nightstand which simply isn’t big enough to accommodate multiple people and their things that are typically standard for anyone in 2024. Cell phones, chargers, a drink, laptop, tablet. Any combo of those things was next to impossible to set on the nightstand for one person let alone two. Or in my case 4. The shower was nice. I’m personally preferential to hot showers so I put more of my judgement into the pressure and temp of the water in a hotel than I do almost any other aspect. I’m weird like that. Also liked that they weren’t cramped showers. No banging elbows while you wash your hair. That was great. Door handle needs work in the room I was in though. My 14yo got trapped in the bathroom. We had to use one of the room keys to open it to get her out. We just kept it cracked for the rest of the stay. Front desk lady was functional but definitely not a people person. She wasn’t mean or rude but she definitely wasn’t the customer service type. Strong dmv personality. No offense she might be entirely wonderful outside of work. I will say the number 2 best thing aside from the showers was the late check out options. Firstly loved that check out was noon and not 11:00. But I loved that I could request a 1:00 or 2:00pm check out as well. I work remotely and don’t finish til around 12:30 so that was a god send. The beds are way too soft. I know a lot of people like that but as someone who worked construction my whole life. Soft beds are terrifying. I’ll sleep on the floor in...

Cons:

*Cockroach in room, only found one and was lucky enough to kill it but still left us uneasy and we keep everything off the floor to hopefully avoid transporting others home. No one likes a cockroach outbreak at home. Not sure if the staff cared since nothing was done to alleviate our stress other than saying they will look into it the next day and they will be sure to let the owner know.

*Extremely tiny bathroom yet there is a setting area with a couch that barely has a function, so why not design the bathroom to have a few more feet (ours was a 2 Queen room). So small that you bump your legs on the toilet when standing at the sink and the door will hit you when opened, probably a 5x8 size. Better to push the space out and use available space from the setting area, making it a 5x10 would have made it work. (sage advice for future design)

*Breakfast was plentiful but having never been at this facility one would never know that there is more dining space adjacent or on the second floor so it was very uncomfortable for the initial crowd who all piled into the cramp space, apparently no one knew the layout, perhaps the help seeing this crowd could have spoke up to alleviate the sardine effect going on.

*A/C in the window, very noisy and makes sleep difficult, if you turn it off the road noise penetrates the older aluminum window style rather easily.

*Bed made the back ache, perhaps a more firm bed would help.

Pro:

*Check-in staff friendly and reassuring when calling to validate reservation

*Price was lower than some that include breakfast

*Aesthetics of facility look good

Overall:

What good is a reasonably priced stay with an adequate breakfast if you can't sleep and have to worry about pests.

My recommendation would be a yes if you can tolerate bed firmness and if a loud fan noise does not bother your sleep and a no if you can't...
