Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Denver Tech Center/South — Hotel in Four Corners States

It was a complete nightmare, I will start off by saying the young dark haired front desk man and the manager tried very hard to make things right. The morning front desk women were not so. It started out that we wanted 2 adjoining rooms as we had our grandchildren with 2 small children ages 2 and 4. I mentioned before we confirmed that if that wasn't possible we would look elsewhere, that and having an indoor pool open later, was a deal breaker, in staying there. We were told that it was written down and confirmed. when we got there we were told they didn't have the accommodation's available for adjoining rooms. The manager worked very hard and was able to get adjoining rooms for the night that the grandchildren would be there. He said that he would have to put us up one night in a different room, and we were fine with that. They room he put us in we couldn't open due to a bad lock, we went back a couple of times and he gave us different keys. The manager came and checked and found he had to replace the lock which he did. Once again that was fine. While we were in the room waiting while he changed the lock we thought we would watch television just to find out that it also wasn't working because it hadn't been programmed to any stations. Once again that was fine we were tired and would just go to bed. Just to find out that there were no black out curtains and being on the 1st floor people could see in. The manager said that we couldn't stay in the room without blackout curtains and put us in a new room. once again fine. Our grandchildren called and asked how it was and we said not bad a few kinks but not bad. Still fine. when our grandchildren came in they were excited to use the pool only to find out that it was closed due to someone pooping in the pool, yes once again we dealt with it. BUT this is when the whole thing changed. They small children were jumping on the couch and their mom told them to get off while she made the bed. When she took off the cushion there was a very sharp (pointing upward) drug paraphernalia. Am I sure it was drug paraphernalia Yes! it had burnt drugs on the end. That was they end!! I went to the front desk and turned it in, when I came back to the room and saw the filth that was under the cushions I was disgusted! When the front desk young man came in he was wearing gloves for safety reasons (obviously) and offered to bring us new sheets. There didn't seem to be the same concern...

Front desk personals are very rude and aggressive towards guests by putting stigmas on them by talking bad about them without even knowing the guests situations. Bree is very trashy with her attitude and does not need to be, in any shape or form, the first person guests sees when she’s brutal in the way she talks to them when bringing up that the telephone and television are still broken from two weeks ago when you were in the same room. She snaps at you and plainly tells you that your elite platinum status does not matter to getting what I want like asking her to fix the TV and phone is an act of congress. Then she passes on to another trashy front desk person Alex, that works the evening shift, negative insults about me then treats me rudely right away. I’ve spoken with the manager before going to bed after breakfast about getting late checkout at 1600 and said she would fix it but Alex informed me it’s not added but cannot be added until she confirms with Natalie on the phone. Natalie said she would talk to Bree about the way she talked to me but lets her front desk staff still insult me like I’m a hobo begging for a place to sleep. I’m a paying customer that should be treated with respect and I would expect trash people working at a motel 6 or lower end hotel chain but not from an international brand. Alex through our phone conversations on the phone gets even worse by calling me a brat and hanging up the phone. When I call him back to ask him to speak to a manager he continues to insult me by telling me I’m just trying to get a free night’s stay and had the nerve to threaten me by telling me to get my stuff and get the F* out of my room! I call the police on him for verbal harassing me and causing a threatening aggression over the phone and the officer tells me he said the opposite of what happen and they turn on me like I’m a criminal and changed the key to my own room. So I leave beginning of work to get my belongings in the room and talked to him nicely to speak with Natalie and he continues to refuse so the officer pushes me to get my stuff out of the room and leave like I’m a threat to this psycho who lied to the police officers about everything by denying he ever threatened me to get the f out of the hotel room...
