Wallet-Thinning Margaritas Meet Average Fajitas
If your wallet feels too heavy and you’re in the mood for some fiscal aerobics, then this is the spot for you! Where else can you lighten it by $17 on a 32-ounce margarita? That’s right, at Margarita Monopoly! Pair it with their $22 fajitas, and you’ve got yourself an “ordinary yet gold-plated” evening.
Now, don’t get me wrong, the fajitas are like that one hit wonder on the radio; great, but play in every Mexican joint from here to Tijuana. They won’t serenade your taste buds into uncharted territory, but they’re reliable like an old jukebox - same tune, different place.
The tortillas, though, deserve a standing ovation for not turning your meal into a high-pressure squeeze-fest. They’re the unsung heroes, holding it together so you can take a bite without launching a fajita filling missile across the table - a true marvel of culinary engineering.
Dive into their salsa, and you’ll find it’s as fresh as the Prince of Bel-Air, with a heat that won’t have gringos sprinting for the nearest fire extinguisher.
The ambiance? Buzzing like a beehive in a blender. The staff? Sweeter than a piñata full of compliments. But what truly sets this place apart? Well, that’s still up for debate because it seems the only unique offering is the price tag.
After a 7-mile trek, one can’t help but think that a local joint might have scratched the fajita itch just as well, with a margarita price that doesn’t require a payment plan.
In summary, if you’re craving that average fajita flare with a side of wallet woes, you’ve hit the...
Read moreOrdered thru DoorDash. Ordered cheese enchiladas and they were good, not great, but weren't bad. Ordered a Stuffed Sopapilla which is described on their menu as a "Crunchy shell stuffed with beans and cheese then topped with green chili, sour cream, and guacamole." There was nothing crunchy in that blob of cheese and beans. It did come with the sour cream and guacamole but I didn't see any green chili. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was literally a blob, an 8" foil bowl filled with beans and cheese! (Maybe in itself not a bad thing, but not when you are expecting sopapilla!) Then there was the quesadilla. On DoorDash you have to choose a meat when ordering quesadilla, there is no way to order a cheese only quesadilla so I ordered a chicken with notes in the special instructions that read "Extra cheese INSTEAD OF meat, and sour cream inside." They included the extra cheese but left the chicken on. We couldn't eat it so I called the restaurant to get it made correctly and sent out. I am told they don't deliver. I say get DoorDash on the phone and get someone to deliver it. He finally agrees after several back and forth's. Fast forward 1 hour. No redelivery. No call from the restaurant. I call again and am told he tried but DoorDash won't come. I say, "fine, refund my purchase." He says, "ok" Now I wait to set if he does. I will update in 3 days when a refund...
Read moreFood came out barely warm and over all so-so which just alone is disappointing but our server had major attitude from the beginning when we sat down and told him we had a lunch coupon that came in the mail that was buy one get one half off coupon that came with it was for $5 off. My friend and I were nothing but nice to him as well but it did nothing to change his attitude when he came out with the check he purposely messed up the discount from the coupon when we called him out on it he said we should of used the $5 coupon, yet with the lunch coupon we would of been getting roughly $6.30 but he would only give us $3.38 off. I did the math numerous times to double check with my friend and the server stood at the table behind us acting like he was taking care of silverware. He kept saying the $3 something was correct for the buy one get one off and just said it would be best for us to do the $5.00 coupon, I honestly don't know why the restaurant wouldn't honor the buy one get one but it was absolutely frustrating and especially uncomfortable when we were trying to check the math to have the server standing...
