I've been coming to this coffee shop consistently for quite a while now. First off, everything is literally fresh and house made. The coffee beans are literally being roasted in the back, and you can taste that its fresh in your coffee. Anyone who thinks this tastes "burnt" has really never had freshly roasted beans.
I work in DTC, but make the drive almost every other day. The coffee, pastries/ breakfast are top notch. It's always nice to have a "go to" coffee shop near by- especially when you know it's good. There are plenty of coffee shops around me, but none of them live up to "It's Coffee." It is indeed very good coffee. and it is in deed, fresh coffee.
The employees are very sweet, and very welcoming. They always look presentable, and put in an effort to show up to work. I've noticed that every time they make me a drink, they make sure that it's to my liking- and if not, they will always remake it- no questions asked. I assure you, they will do the same for you. Just ask.
The environment of the coffee shop has a very comforting and welcoming atmosphere- as the more you go, you begin to know all of the workers, including the owner, very personally. To even add on to the wonderful environment, the owner brings in her baby- which just brings such a joy!! Everyone loves her!!!
On top of great coffee and great environment, the coffee shop is actually really well maintained- it's a very clean spot. You can tell they keep up with everything, and employees are always keeping the kitchen very clean- as I've watched it happen multiple times.
I highly recommend starting your morning here- as it definitely will brighten your...
Read moreI’ve past this joint many times but I decided that this past weekend was a good time to stop in. I love that it’s titled It’s Coffee although the logo doesn’t quite match the in shop experience. Bc when I walked in it was like love at first sight. A very clean and sleek interior with modern tasteful furniture and decor. Everything is baked in house which is like unheard of for half the coffee shops in Denver. Organic coffee although I’m unsure if the food is also made with organic ingredients but I would imagine so. I was greeted with a knowledgeable woman who I imagine was the owner. Many of their products had a Turkish origin bean or Turkish inspired pastries with your traditional jelly/ cream cheese danishes and such. I wish this sweet gem was closer to Glendale. I prefer to support local small businesses over corporations. Giant corporate coffee shops don’t actually savor the art of coffee making and the experience is lost in the grey of automated coffee machines and entire flavor profiles obliterated in the convenient coffee craze. Coffee is meant to be enjoyed- not gulped down with over saturated disgusting sugary syrups. When I say the art of coffee I mean the flavor profile of a well pulled espresso shot in all of its glory. I really loved my coffee and danish. In fact the entire experience was really the start of a good day. Friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff. Smiling faces. An unadulterated fabulous latte made the way I like. A fluffy danish. I’ll just have to stop by again when I hit...
Read moreIt's coffee but it's not good coffee or good health and safety practice. Got three drinks an almond syrup latte with oat milk, a toffee nut latte with vanilla and oat milk and vanilla frape with a shot. Both lattes were basically inedible without stevia added and even still with it added it tasted like burnt espresso and bad milk, the frappe tasted like nothing but ice and water and took 10 minutes to make, I totally get a long wait for coffee but for it tasting absolutely awful not worth it at all, also spent $25 dollars on the three which again would be fine if the coffee was good but it was so awful it was a huge waste of money. The coffee shop is also lacking on cleanliness practices, I get being a single mom and not having a babysitter but one of the workers had her baby in her arm in which the baby had fully grabbed onto on the cup they were going to make one of our lattes in and she didn't change the cup, Her baby's car seat was also on the counter next to the blenders. I also watched them drop a steaming pitcher on the ground and not only did she not sanitize it but she just put it back on the counter and did not tell anyone not to use it. Everyone was touching their hair, and had long nails with nail polish. Truly a disgusting and disappointing experience. Was also excited for an organic shop but unfortunately the beans are the only thing that are organic after that they cheap out on everything else, great value milk, Toni syrups, just truly a sad...
