I am a real estate agent representing a buyer who is purchasing a home. This company was hired by the selling side to clean and reinspect the sewer line due to root intrusion. The cost for the cleaning and inspection was around $600 for 75 ft of sewer. This company is more than capable of cleaning a sewer line. The problem arose with the "inspection."
They provided a video (which never reached the city tap) and simply stated, "After jetting the line, put a camera in the line and inspected to the main city tap. Did not find any blockages, and the line was clear. There are no immediate repairs necessary at this time."
I reviewed the video and noticed an obvious belly in the line that was not mentioned. I contacted the company and notified their management. They were quick to respond and sent someone back out after the weekend. This person reinspected the sewer line and provided us with another report the next day, but without a video. This report stated, "Team ran the camera out approximately 60 ft until the belly in the line was visible. The team used a locating device and discovered that the belly was located past the property line."
That was it. The belly is located past the property line with zero recommendations. In fact, a discussion occurred between the broker and the sewer line technician, and the technician mentioned that the city could be responsible for anything in the street, which is simply not true. I mentioned this to management, and they seemed aloof but open to listening and taking note.
If youâre a broker, consider asking if the company has changed its protocols for inspections. I wasted a lot of time getting accurate information and ended up putting much more effort into verifying the information they provided. I appreciate their promptness and customer service orientation, but this could have been handled much better. All three stars are for customer service by management...
Read moreI just would like to say that I can't thank Lance enough for being such a efficient worker! He came in and from the start he was very professional. Not only was he friendly but he clearly showed knowledge of his profession. The shower faucet system in my apartment was old and leaking a serious amount of water to the point my neighbors below me were getting water leaks. Lance came in and fixed the problem and left me with brand new shower system. Has been years since we had this problem but no plumber had been able to fix it like Lance did. Many plumbers had come in and "fixed it" but I always had to place another maintenance request after only a couple of months or weeks to get it refixed. Lance replaced the entire inside shower system and not only did he get new pipes but got us a brand new faucet set. He made sure everything was running smoothly. He showed me the broken parts he had taken out and the parts he replaced them with. I highly recommend this business! Very profesional, and completed the work the same day! Please pass the word around, their professionalism is...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of working with Master Rooter Plumbing , and I have to give a big shoutout to Tiger and Connor for their outstanding service. They came out on two separate visits to help one of our residents with a drain issue, and both times they were professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient.
Tiger handled the initial visit and quickly identified the problem. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the resident and our team felt informed and confident in the solution. He worked quickly but thoroughly and left the area spotless.
Connor came out for the follow-up appointment and picked up seamlessly where Tiger left off. He was just as helpful and professional, and it was clear that communication between the two was solid. The job was completed successfully, and our resident was so appreciative of how smoothly everything went.
Weâre grateful for vendors like Master Rooter who treat our residents with care and professionalism. Thank you, Tiger and Connor, for a...
