Wendy's — Restaurant in Center Township

If I could do 0 stars- I would. This is the 2nd visit to the Monaca, PA location in 2 months time and could not get waited on in the store, while watching all the staff stand around doing absolutely nothing- and we are talking about roughly 15-20 employees doing absolutely nothing. We waited over 35 minutes the first visit before leaving. We only waited that long because a woman ordered 22 happy meals and some new staff came on and we thought it would get better- instead it got slower. The second visit was today, 11/9/24 and the same exact thing happened- the drive thru was waited on while the in store line was not tended to at all- while watching 15-20 people stand around, joking, arguing, possibly quitting, etc. The management is a joke and does absolutely nothing to help the situation or guide the staff into doing their jobs. Do not waste your time and energy trying to get food from this place- it’s apparently normal for the customers to be blatantly ignored, and leave them without any service until they just up and leave: the only customer who was waited on- got his burger (order was wrong- not surprised), and waited over 25 minutes for his fries which were old and cold so he was unhappy and wanted his $$ back, we left at this point bc the manager wouldn’t come out to take care of the situation. Shameful joke of a “fast food” restaurant. The line was so angry and we were the last ones in it- everyone else behind us left already. We left at 25 minutes without any single person being serviced in the line. I’m the type to only compliment staff rather than point out the bad- but at this rate they deserve to be fired and replaced with someone who can actually do something, anything useful for the customers who take the time to come in and eat in the store. Being ignored is downright disrespectful and the reason I am writing this to begin with. 1 time can be chalked up to a bad day, but 2 times- I think not. My time is...

So allow me first to say that I absolutely love Wendy's when I'm in the mood for cheap fast food. I have always enjoyed their food. This was my first time at this location. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a fairly simple order. I would have expected everything to be quick and correct. I hope I'm not being petty with my list of issues.

First the bad: Had to wait almost 10 minutes for the food to be given to me sitting at the window of by he drive-thru.

Ordered a coffee with 10 cream and 10 sugar (yes that's how I drink it) and got a coffee with 10 cream and 0 sugar. Then when I asked for the 10 sugar packets I was told the cashier forgot to put them on the order and would put them in the bag.... There were only 4 in the bag. Walked in and asked for the other 6 packets very calmly and respectfully and received an attitude....

The fries were not even close to being fresh. They were not hot at all and tasted kind of old.

Now the good: Cashier at the window was very nice if absent minded. The store was clean and neat. The burgers were definitely fresh and tasty as were the chicken nuggets.

All and all I will still frequent Wendy's, however, I will probably never go to this location again as it's out if my normal areas I usually drive to and it was a fairly...

I come through and get a classic pretzel bacon pub sandwich, the order taker rang it up as a single pretzel bacon pub and I then said that I wanted the classic again. He told me that it’s going to say single on the screen but I’m getting the classic, so I pull around to the window to pay and I told the order taker that I only want the classic not the single and he said yeah you are only getting the classic. I pay for it and he didn't give me the receipt. So I head forward to get the food and I receive both the single and classic, they are both not the way I ordered the classic to begin with. So I pull back around and tell them that I didn’t want it, they take the single pub back and they ask me if I want the refund on my card or cash, so I say I want it back on my card. They proceed to close the window for a couple minutes then hand me cash. I will not be coming back to this Wendy’s again and do not recommend it to anyone. They then remade my classic sandwich the right way but slathered the whole bottom bun in pub cheese making it unable to pick up with your bare hands without making a mess.
