I had the most incredible interaction Iāve ever had with a food service establishment. I placed an online order on Monday for a 2 oāclock pick up on Tuesday. I ordered two large quick chicks, one Classic Carol and one Cranberry Kelli, and one small quick chicks pimento cheese. Three prepackaged items, which should have been fairly straightforward. I arrived a few minutes before 2 oāclock, and gave my name at the pick up counter. Shortly after 2 oāclock, I was asked to give my name a second time, which I did. At 2:05, I was informed that they were out of one of the chicken salads that I had ordered, The Classic Carol, and then asked what I would like instead. I was amazed. I had already purchased and paid for a large container of Classic Carol, which I needed for a luncheon the next day. I assumed that since I had bought and paid for it online, it would have been set aside until I came to pick it up. Instead, they sold out of it during lunch that day. Meanwhile, there is a sign on the counter stating that if the store was out of any of the quick chicks flavors, just ask and they can make it fresh for you. No one offered to make it fresh for me. Instead, I was offered a refund. I took the refund and left. I doubt that I will be back. I certainly will never use their online ordering again. About a month ago, my order took 30 minutes to arrive to my table. For a āfast-foodā oriented place, that was just unacceptable. The staff was extremely unprofessional until another worker walked over and gave us coupons for next time who was very apologetic and kind.
Today was my first time there since, and my experience was even worse.
The cashier said āwhat do you wantā Didnāt even look at her screen
I told her what I wanted Still doesnāt even look at her screen, just staring at me
Then goes āwell⦠we have a really long waitā and wouldnāt put my order in. I immediately walked out. I have never been to a restaurant where someone just does not put an order in because of a wait.
I believe this location has some serious issues with staff and management as the past two times I have been to this location, the manager has been rude to multiple customers. I genuinely hope this location gets their business, running smoothly in the near future as I do...

Go in and watch the two managers and the single front-end employee they have with them (even though they stay busy enough for a minimum of two-three) frantically struggle (looking clueless) to get out the in-house orders while completely ignoring all the waiting pickup people and doordashers, even though tons of orders are clearly on the counter ready. And donāt expect to wait the estimated wait time for your order, it will definitely take twice as long at least. At least have the common business sense to have a pickup shelf like literally every other restaurant nowadays.
