UPDATE: I forgot to post my updated review. I ordered my favorite meal this week, and once again it did not disappoint. I saved half the food for the next day and the chicken was still juicy, I ordered and extra smashed potato for the next day. Everything was great! Thanks April and Yadira!
Another great meal from April and everyone at O'Charley's! I called in an order (Superbowl Sunday), and the young lady that answers the phone is always really nice (Yadira)! They helped me get my order together. The food was great and I look forward to returning. The chicken breast meal is one of those meals I could eat everyday. Moist chicken, great smashed potatoes, and broccoli, my daughter likes the asparagus! What a difference in the food i received today versus the food i had yesterday!! Thank you April for replacing my food from yesterday. This is what I fell in love with the first time I ate the new grilled chicken meal. The chicken was juicy, the loaded mashed was great! Thanks again April! I knew it! IWhen I give a good review to resturants when the food and service are great, but soon after something happens. I ordered my new favorite meal through call in order, and I should have checked it before i left the resturant. There was only one piece of chicken, which honestly was dry, my baked potato was cooked wayyy too long and they have this new thing where they don't give you two breads per order, now you get three (you have to split the third one). I had plans to take half my meal to work, so that was out. I did talk to one of the managers, April and she offered to give me another meal. I would have went back up there, but it was a little distance and I I was so tired from work. I just wanted to enjoy my meal and relax. C'mon OCharley's, don't let me down! This is the kind of meal, not heavy, really good when it is done right. Don't sleep on OCharley's, we came here to celebrate my sister's birthday. We originally went to Cheddars across the street, but there was a two hour wait. Three of us ordered the new grilled chicken with different sides. I got the broccoli and loaded potato. The loaded potato was over cooked, but that is my only complaint. Good job O'Charley's! I...
Read moreOn Valentine’s Day of this year (yesterday) I took my two year old daughter out to dinner. Unfortunately my (ex) wife and I divorced this past Friday. All I wanted was to take my little girl out for a special dinner at an easy going place that’s usually pretty great.
Last night we put our order in - chicken tenders for her with apple juice and chicken tender: steak combo for me with a sprite. We got our drinks easily enough. Though the rolls we waited on for about a solid 10 minutes. Anyone with a two year old thats hungry knows that’s a long long time.
We put our order in at 5:50 pm ( I took a selfie of her and I just after the waitress walked away). At 6:35 pm I finally said I had had enough. I’ll note that hardly anyone existed in our section ( only two tables, a two person and a 5 person) and throughout the rest of the restaurant in general it was relatively lighter than usual in terms of capacity.
When I got up to leave - mind you a 2 year old who has til this point been AMAZING at their self control though she kept saying her tummy “hurts”because she’s hungry - I still didn’t see our food even coming.
I went to the host - a younger male, perhaps Jonah or something I can’t exactly recall- and informed him thst ive a two year old daughter and that I can’t stay any longer. The manager, an older white female with unknown name, was standing there and I spoke with her very briefly. Without any anger I explained that I’ve a little girl whom I wanted to get fed and I was leaving. She said she understood and said she was sorry but didn’t offer any sort of recourse or attempt to check on food etc. this wasn’t expected but as someone that’s been in the food industry this should’ve been the norm- make the customer happy.
I informed them I’d go to the truck and get a few dollars to pay for my drinks and I did. I didn’t expect it- but it’s worth noting there was NO offer by the manager to comp the drinks and / or food or offer future anecdotes.
This experience, though pretty terrible because of the day and events surrounding it, isn’t the norm at this location however.
For Clarification- this is the...
Read more9-5-22 IF YOU HAVE A DELIVERY MADE AND IT IS INCORRECT YOU WILL HAVE TO DRIVE TO THE RESTAURANT FOR THEM TO FIX IT, AND MANANGMENT CANNOT ISSUE ANY REFUND FROM THE STORE- THEY MUST GO THROUGH CORPORATE. MANAGEMENT HAS NO AUTHORITY TO DO ANYTHING AND WILL NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR ERRORS.
Now with the incident. $80 order placed for delivery to a household under self quarantine due to possible Covid exposure. Called to let them know the side item and rolls in our family meal were missing.
Manager Pam let us cheerfully know that we would have come in to get the missing items or call Door Dash.
We never ordered through Door Dash. Pam never offered an "I'm sorry we messed up your order how can we make this right; here are some options."
We drove up to the restaurant and gave them all of the food back and just asked for a refund. Pam informed us (after having us wait for her to complete mundane tasks within sight) she could not refund us, it would have to come from corporate. AGAIN: NEVER AN APOLOGY, ONLY BLAME ON DOOR DASH. WE DID NOT ORDER ON DOOR DASH.
We had 5 people at home and were dealing with the tragedy of 2 family deaths. All we wanted was a meal and then someone with the capability of emotion and the tiniest authority from corporate to solve a simple issue. People have food delivered because they NEED to sometimes. PEOPLE HAVE FOOD DELIVERED BECAUSE THEY CANNOT DRIVE TO YOU OR CANNOT LEAVE HOME.
Pam, I hope you can understand that listening to a customer and apologizing when your team has make mistakes is a part of management- not just spouting off your asinine policies like a robot with a disingenuous smile.
If corporate cannot refund me for this absolutely draining effort and horrible service, then this review will stand, along with 4 other reviews to follow from the other adults that also wanted a great meal before leaving to fly home.
FOR CORPORATE: Location is Watson BLVD in Warner Robins, Ga. Manager is Pam. I see you respond to your reviews, so here it the information that you...
