In the last two weeks I have been to two Denny's stores. On Thursday the 31st (Halloween) we dined with friends and family. (It was a large party with 3 kids and 8 adults) our server was prompt and amazing, in contrast to the fact that I got a hair in my salad, which he immediately fixed. Bless his heart I can't remember his name but he was fun to be served by, as stated he was prompt, eager to fix issues and he even brought some food for the kids to snack on while we were waiting for the dinner to arrive. This all happened on a BUSY Halloween night.
Store #: 7541 Manager on duty: Leanna Server: Kelli H The location I visited tonight gave us deplorable service and I will not be going back. There were only 6 of us tonight (so half as many as last week plus 1). I again had my 4 and 6 year old. When I got there my 4 year old was very hungry. We got to the restaurant at about 6 pm. In the first place I made a comment where they were seating us because it was right in the breezeway and I don't like sitting near a bunch of foot traffic and I like having my kids in a booth so they can't just get down and run around if so inclined. The only accommodation I was offered was squashing all six of us in a 4 person booth. That is my first time being ignored/brushed off. The first thing I noticed is they were extremely under-staffed. Kelli had a whole section to herself and shortly after we showed up a huge reservation was scheduled. So there was another thing on this one server when she was already over-extended. I asked for fishy crackers for my 4 year old while we were waiting for our meal. We waited a long time for our appetizer and the server didn't even circulate and fill our coffees or anything else. We asked for three waters and only received one. I ordered the appetizer when my sister ordered her soup. The soup came out within 20 minutes and we didn't get our appetizer at least 10 or 15 minutes later. Kelli completely ignored my request to bring my son's fishy crackers early (again he is 4 and was very hungry, which is another thing that was ignored). When I asked again for his fishy crackers she seemed reluctant or irritable ( I'm not sure which) and brought him SALTINES! Of course he is 4 and was hungry and wanted his fishy crackers so of course he started crying. My mom is deathly allergic to margarine and she forgot to mention it to the server. My mom ordered all you can eat pancakes. It took at least an hour to get our food and it took twenty minutes longer for my mom to receive her first plate of all you can eat pancakes. Of course it had margarine on it so it had to be sent back. The second plate also came with margarine. Her all you can eat pancakes became two because she had to go home to get to bed because she has degenerative MS and has to get up for work at 5 am every morning to work a 12 hour shift 6 days a week. So she only got 2 "all you can eat pancakes" within 2 hours of us being there. I personally had three modifications on my Omelet which included mushrooms, Swiss cheese instead of American because I absolutely hate American cheese and roasted red potatoes. I realized I wanted avocado later so I asked for avocado. The so called red potatoes looks like russets country fried. I didn't want to eat my omelet until I got my avacado, so I sat for almost 30 minutes for the avocado, had already eaten my "russet .... (Continued in attached images) ...When her manager came to the front she was terse with me, she cut me off several times. Wouldn't listen to my complaints or concerns completely brushed me off. Was completely apathetic to the fact that I have kids that need to get to bed and fully appeared to side with her server who could only make excuses and did not try to fix anything. She claimed she would not charge me for the avacado I had to wait for and still charged me for it. I will never ever EVER go back to the Centralia store. They were entirely understaffed, they are entirely apathetic to the needs of customers and their kitchen clearly is not paying attention to...
Read moreI had lunch at this Dennys today! My food was absolutely amazing. The server was friendly, quick and so helpful. The host has the best smile & greets everyone. Awesome experience. Thank you for an excellent visit. Highly recommend. I must say the location I went to yesterday was one of the best Denny's I have ever been to. Service was Superior the food was made to order and was delicious. I would highly recommend this location in Washington to anyone. This Denny's really has a good set up for healthy staff and consumer set up, our server was professional and attentive. While also keeping up with us through our meal. Food was great, but that is more to the personal taste then for anyone to judge Love the atmosphere, definitely feels like a diner with that nice old school vibe
Did not realize that the meltdown on doordash is actually Dennys restaurant the food was amazing ended up having it twice in one day. Whatever that sounds much worse that I got from the meltdown that meat inside was melted in your mouth good I was really glad I ordered it The best part of this place is the service we get from waitress. She deserves a gold star for how well she takes care of her customers. Always a great breakfast after a night out. The quality is always great as well as the service. Go early because it gets busy. Terrific service and hot, solid food. I had never noticed, but Denny’s has the PERFECT size/shape handle for their coffee mugs. It’s the small things, and I often hate coffee mug handles. Coffee bliss! It's nice and clean. My server was the best and kept calling me sweety. She read my mind when I was finished and brought me a Coke to go. My food was brought out quickly and was very tasty. And to top it off, seeing the manager welcoming customers in not only English but also Spanish. It was great to see how welcoming she was. It struck a chord with me as my mom didn't speak much English when she came to this country. Such a small act of kindness as greeting customers bilingually was a beautiful surprise. The food and service were top-notch. Last time I was here the restaurant was extremely crowded so I placed my order and waited in the car. The young lady that took the order not only took my number to call me but she hand delivered to the car. It took less time than they estimated that it would. The food was served hot and tasted delicious. I will definitely eat here again. Definitely one of the better Denny's in the Washington area! Waitress was super nice, other diners were respectful, and everything was clean. Tables are kept well stocked and food came out very quick! Will definitely come back! The manager is phenomenal. Helped get my order right first time. So helpful and professional. Very impressed how she handled my order. I'll be back and highly recommend I come to Denny's at least 3 times a week but very early morning hours normally. I love the server we get served by normally he is very nice, outgoing and friendly. The place is always clean and kept up well, rarely do I see dishes on tables or food on the floor. Denny's staff are much more friendly than other businesses in the area and they don't discriminate anyone because of being less fortunate than others. This is a good place to go eat any time or day of the week. Bathrooms smell good and clean. The service at this location was great and the food was very delicious. We ate pancakes and other sides. My dude had the 10.00 deal with two pancakes, eggs, hash browns, two sausages, two stripes of bacon, great deal right.I had the $7.59 deal with two pancakes, eggs with cheese, two sausages. We both ordered a hot tea.The bill was very reasonable. It was my time to treat, and I only paid $22 something. The total bill was under $23.Dennys is a restaurant where you can have whatever you want any time of the day Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Its items for the whole entire family. You all...

Wife, grandson, and I went to breakfast here this morning.
The restaurant looks clean, and smells clean. Tables were squeaky clean and not sticky like some restaurants are.
As we waited to be seated I observed the waitresses in the back having positive interaction with one another. It's nice to see people working great together and having a good time. We were seated promptly.
My wife's coffee was filled around 5 times, which makes sense since we were waiting for our order for over an hour. The waitress told us we are next (around the 50 minute mark since ordering) then about 10 minutes later she walks by us with hands full of dishes, taking them out to other customers.
I'm sorry to se we ended up leaving and not getting our food after waiting what was a little over an hour.
I have NEVER in my 44 years of life left a restaurant before eating. Personally, I have ate a number of substandard meals served from various places over the years, and have always been dedicated to tipping well no matter the service or food.
But I have never sat for over an hour waiting for my food at a restaurant, especially one that wasn't particularly busy when we got there.
I left the waitress of $5 tip because she is simply a middleman in this mornings catastrophe.
Neither my wife nor I are angry about this happening.
What I will say is it's imperative that MANAGEMENT please sort out whatever disorder is happening on the cooking line. Management is absolutely 100% responsible for running both front and back end in an effective and efficient manner.
The food that was being carried out to tables looked aesthetically pleasing, the customer service from the waitress was fantastic, but all of that is a complete waste if guests have to wait so long for their food they feel inclined to, or actually do leave.
I really hope what we ran into this morning was simply a bad morning on the cook line, and not some deeper level issue with organization. We are rooting for you to straighten whatever issues exist out.
As I said previously we haven't been to Denny's for a number of years, it may have been 10 years. It's my intention to go back to this Denny's sometime in the future because I would love to update this post with a completely positive review.
Thank you...
