We really loved this place, however after our third visit probably won’t be coming back. The owners kid continually followed our children trying to boss them around. He literally sat there and watched them while they played and repeatedly told them “I’m the managers kid” and “I’m going to tell on you” and kept trying to start arguments with them. He then started kicking mats out from underneath the climbing structure that they were trying to land on. The owner did come over to talk to us and see what was going on, but her child walked up and interrupted the conversation so we never really got to figure out the problem. I felt really dismissed, especially because right after her son again tried to block our kid from going into the buildings. From reading another Facebook review I can see that this isn’t the only time the owners kid has tried to boss other kids around. I was planning on purchasing a membership this fall so it’s quite disappointing that I don’t feel comfortable taking my children here anymore. I realize that all children have their bad days, but repeatedly trying to bully younger children is very uncalled for.
Editing to reply to your response: Our children NEVER once said that they were going to “drop on him until he dies”. They did say they were going to land on him and crush him AFTER he had been picking at them constantly and kicking toys away from them. I was there for it and asked my son just to make sure and he seemed very confused when I asked him if that’s what was said. So your son seems to not be telling you the full story. Also, the fact that nothing is being said about the way your son is treating other children at an establishment that is meant for children to feel safe...
Read moreThere first day was today so naturally I gathered my daughter and went to check it out. Who wouldn't lol. Coffee and a safe play area for the little kids. Sounds good to me. They charge 7.50 a day for one kid to play and sell non skid socks so the little ones don't slip and fall for 2.00 a pair. They have so much for the kids to do and even have a area for 2 and under kids to play without getting hurt or ran over by the bigger kids in the larger play area. They have anything thing from bikes to a store teller station for the kids. My daughter loved it and was sad to have to leave. The only thing that is a bit sad but understandable is they only let kids 6 and under go in there to play but since we in lewis county dont have anything like this for the kids to play at thats not inside its not a big thing to overlook. The bigger kids have so many places outside to play at so it makes sense. Also another good thing that they put in is a lot of options to sit down and relax while being able to keep a close eye...
Read moreSuch an amazing space created here for children and their parents. A happy , safe, atmosphere with so many sensory activities for kids. My little one is 15 months, and hasn’t had the chance to interact with other kids around his age. I don’t have roots here, it we are trying. I learned about it and went to check it out the same day. Couldn’t be more thrilled! My little guy had so much fun, and so did I. Thankfully, it was not overwhelming with tons of kids just running around and parents checked out on the sidelines. The parents were all very relaxed, able to mingle, work or just relax, while being completely present for their children. Rules were respected and the kids all seemed to really enjoy themselves and each other. Also, I loved the coffee and all the snacks available.
I really am so thankful to have this available near by, and at such an affordable price. It means this place can be a regular outing for my son and I now, providing us the ability to grow in our community, socialize and learn...
