I have been pretty disappointed the last few times I have ordered food from this location. Most of the people are really nice, but the food is severely lacking. I have a family member who is on the spectrum and he HATES pickles, it's just easier to say he's allergic than explaining he won't eat anything off the same table as a pickle. One day I pulled through, for him a chicken nugget Happy Meal (the easiest order on earth) and when he opened the box there, in all their glory were 2 random pickles in freaking Happy Meal box!!! I used to work fast food and part of me wonders if this was a joke someone in the kitchen was playing because they were board. Which isn't funny at all, especially to someone like me. It was already late, the line was long, my kids were irritated, but we had to go back through so my kid could eat. Getting him to change his mind about what he will eat is like submitting a new bill to Congress IMPOSSIBLE!!! As a mom with chronic pain and chronic illness, sometimes whipping up a meal at home is not an option, so this was the bext best thing since my child agreed. What I thought was going to be an easy and quick solution, definitely turned into a 30 minute ordeal because of this "silly" pickle, which isn't so silly to him. It was fixed with some hesitation, because I am sure they didn't believe me But I also shouldn't have to give a full medical history to order my child some chicken nuggets. Fast forward, again in a hurry for an appointment, my son needs food, so do I do I take meds, we swing through for some hot cakes and 2 sausage egg wraps, we both took one bite and were unable to finish. The hot cakes were dry and rubbery, and the sausage egg wraps were so terrible I couldn't even get my first and only bite down. The texture of the eggs was really off as well. Almost like the entire order was sitting to long, so they tossed it all in the microwave to avoid food loss. We only go for ice cream now, but even then it a toss up on if they will even have it. Lastly, I bring my dog with me and I understand that not everyone is a dog person. I try to remember to keep my back window mostly up becinam well aware that all folks want to hand you your change or food when a 100 pound slobbery mess is in the back seat. But the main reason he is drooling is because he gets treats is most drive thru situations, so he thinks all drive thru's are out there solely to give him treats just for showing up. I understand that not all restaurants cater to this luxury, but when I ask very nicely if you guys offer anything for dogs because he was behaving so nicely in the backseat, and give me this look of disgust, I tend to get pretty offended. I understand not everyone likes dogs, or any animal for that matter. But if animals aren't your cup of tea, maybe just try and hide it a little better for the ones that absolutely adore their pets. If it wasn't for the bad food,I would have stopped coming solely for the dirty looks I get when I ask for a...
Read moreClosed dining room early and wouldn't let me order food to go during operating hours.
So, last night after spending the day/evening with family (Away from home) as I was riding my motorcycle home I was thinking, it's almost 10:pm I'm hungry and I didn't want to cook when I got home, and I hadn't been to McDonalds in a while so why not stop and get some food to go. They should still be open. So I go out of my way to go there and park. When I attempt to enter, the doors are locked. Did they change their hours? Not according to the sign on the door. Check my phone, 9:55. Sign said dining room open until 10:pm, drive through open later. Surely I can get a regular meal to go by 10. So I knocked, with no response. Checked the other door, same. Heading back to my bike a person sitting on the curb, admiring my bike, suggested using the drive thru. I thanked him for his suggestion but declined. Who wants to sit in a oily drive thru lane surrounded by running cars while on a motorcycle? So after a few minutes two women come to check the doors and one waves at me. So as I approach the doors they walk away. So I knock again one comes back and when I point out I had been there (With helmet in hand, and bike in the background) since before their dining room closing time she just said sorry, closed the door again and walked away.
This seems to be happening a lot recently. I show up either on a motorcycle, or with a trailer looking for food after a long day, often with hours to go before I can get home, only to be met with locked dining rooms during posted business hours, or just as bad drive out of my way to go to a restaraunt that google claims is open only to find the advertised hours are incorrect and they don't list dining room and drive thru hours seperately. Only that they are open until the drive thru closes. Ad the lack of service to the sky high prices and it's no wonder I, like so many other people eat out so much less...
Read moreHad the worst experience at a fast food place in my life today. All I ordered was one large hot coffee, when I reached the window to pay the girl behind it was cussing extremely loudly. I got to the second window, where they told me to pull forward to wait. Normally I wouldn’t mind waiting, however they had me and the three cars behind me pull forward to wait for our stuff. I waited 25 minutes for one hot coffee. I figured I was going to be late for class so I went inside and asked about the wait. The manager(?) was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, not one singular worker was doing anything when I worked in. Every single one of them was just standing behind the counter as if they didn’t have 4 cars waiting for their food and a line out to the road. As I left to go wait in my car I noticed the disgusting amount of dead roaches and flies that were piled next to the front door. Finally I got my coffee and it was not stirred, and half empty. If you told me everybody working in that Mcdonald's walked in for the first time that day I would believe you. Never go to this McDonald’s, I promise you the 5 minute drive to the other one across town will provide you better food and better service. To give this establishment even one star...
