I’ve ordered here plenty of times through Uber Eats. My family loves their food. I’m well aware of the price increases due to the pandemic & the economic recession we’re in. Given the circumstances, they’ve always been reasonable with the portions of food for the price you pay. Well, today, 7/01/22 I decided to order for pickup. I’ve ordered 3 LA Kalibi which cost about $27 per order including tax. Picked up my food & drove back 20mins. Opened up my food any only find 5 pieces of Kalbi in an order. It’s like you take one strip of spare rib & cut it up to 5 pieces (small pieces). I called back & voiced my disappointment. Which I never have done before. They did not offer refund half of the price. But instead said they will give me more if I come back out & pick it up. Reluctantly, I did. Came back home to find just another 5 small pieces. Make it short. Had I ordered through Uber Eats, at least they will refund me half of what I’ve paid for. Lesson learned. But then again I don’t know if I would like to continue my support for a restaurant who does not value their...
Read moreEvergreen Korean Cuisine On a chilly, rain-soaked evening, I sought the comforting warmth of Evergreen Korean Cuisine—a place I’ve visited several times for its authentic offerings. This visit proved no exception, delivering satisfying flavors that truly hit the spot.
The seafood pancake, while not the absolute best I’ve encountered, held its own with a generous scattering of green onions and a crisp texture. A respectable choice, though not necessarily a standout.
What took me by surprise were the soups, which far exceeded expectations. The short rib beef soup arrived with an understated appearance but revealed layers of rich, savory depth. The beef was impeccably tender, practically melting with each bite—a dish worthy of two enthusiastic thumbs up.
The cod stew followed a similar trajectory, its humble presentation belying a broth brimming with flavor and perfectly cooked fish.
Every dish ordered tonight brought genuine comfort and satisfaction. I’m eager to return and explore more of Evergreen’s menu—it’s a spot that consistently delivers warmth and...
Read moreThis place is about as average as it gets.. Apparently their specialty is KBBQ, but I have to yet to try theirs. From here I ordered the spicy stir fried pork and mandu (pan fried dumplings). Both items had good portions but flavor was lacking in both. I could not even attempt to eat a second mandu because the flavor was so bland. Although it is filled with minced meat and vegetables, I could taste nothing! very surprised because I feel that you can never go wrong with mandu. The spicy pork was not spicy nor properly marinated with gochuchang, and once again the vegetables in it had no flavor at all. This place has mnay mixed reviews, and to save myself from guessing if the next visit will be better, I just wouldn't come back as there are far better places that can execute these staple...
