I had just finished shopping and wasn’t really sure what I wanted, but as I was driving, I saw Wushiland Boba in Cerritos. It caught my attention because it was crowded, and since I like boba, I decided to stop and check it out.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away, even though the place was busy. It looked super clean, and all the drinks people were holding looked really good. I usually just stick to milk teas and don’t branch out much, but their whole menu looked tempting.
At first, I was a little confused about how to order—I thought there would be a register like at Starbucks—but I noticed people ordering on a screen, and then another screen to the left. A staff member kindly explained I could use the kiosk or she could take my order. She took my order right away, even though a few people were still deciding at the kiosks.
She was really friendly and quick. I asked how long it would take since I was thinking about walking over to Big 5 across the way, and she told me she’d make it right away—and she did. I barely sat down before my drink was ready.
I got a milk tea at 50% sweetness, and it was perfect—not too sweet, just how I like it. The price was also great. I paid about $6.04 for what looked like a 16 oz drink.
Overall, Wushiland Boba gave me a great first impression: clean, friendly, fast service, and a delicious drink. I’ll definitely be...

Wushiland Boba, occupying a former Subway outside of Los Cerritos Center, has become my favorite boba tea shop in the area.
Besides quality ingredients, Wushiland Boba also doesn't skimp on the toppings. My go-to pick is half boba/half pearl (mini) boba.
Earl grey milk tea w/ half boba/half pearl (mini) boba- Refreshing on a sweltering August day, the Earl Grey was assertive enough to be highlighted in this creamy drink. I enjoy the contrast between the regular sized boba & pearl boba. Customized to my liking (10% sugar, easy ice), the ample amount & generous toppings took a while to drink before the milk tea was all gone.
Service was good. The staff were friendly & hospitable. There are a few tables inside & al fresco. I've been fortunate to visit when the boba shop wasn't busy, but I have seen long lines at night when driving by on 183rd. Parking is via a private lot, shared by Big 5 Sporting Goods.
Very impressive, Wushiland! Your drinks are great, and being so close, I'm going to struggle not coming by all the time. In an ocean of boba shops around every corner, Wushiland stands out as the best of the best, and I'm glad you staked your claim as the Boba...
Read moreHad this chain a lot in SGV. I came here during their soft opening and despite visible training staff, I think their drinks are as good as I remember from their other locations. I love Wushiland for the amount of pearls they put into their drinks and this new Cerritos location is no different. I got their green milk tea with the pearls, regular sweetness, and less ice. A very solid choice and a very basic one in case you're trying out Wushiland for the first time. It doesn't disappoint. I don't personally have any experience with their fruit teas though.
During the soft opening, there's still visible construction going on but it doesn't affect too much. I suspect these will all be gone by the time they open for real. Decent amount of parking just outside but it's kind of in a jank location/plaza. There's only 3 2-person tables inside so definitely a grab-and-go type of place and not somewhere you'd want to settle down for long. I'd come back to this place if I was closer but for now, I'm waiting on their Fullerton...
