Panda Buffet — Restaurant in Chambersburg

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, kitchen was short handed. I have a culinary background. I wanted to see the quality of this newly opened restaurant. I was sorely disappointed. We arrived at supper time, at "high traffic" time for meals being served. Nearly every item, including the essential steamed rice, was either gone, or item was barely there and looked old, hadn't been refreshed in quite some time. When I brought this to the attention of the hostess, she did go to the kitchen to alert of the situation, however, some of the items that we waited for, like wings, came out with blood still showing, under cooked, indicating "rush job" and I had to again bring it to her attention, as she tried to convince me to take the food. I took take out for 3 people..it was over $40, which is about right for these days, but for what I had to go through, was it worth it? I'll let you decide. I'm not sure if my family...

This was our first time being at the restaurant and only time, we got our food and it’s was cold and hard. We told the lady that was working there and she kept telling us that fresh food was coming but never came. My wife only took 1 or 2 bites out of her plate and she had enough of it. My daughter took a bite of hers and spit back out it wasn’t cooked right and it was cold. The owner of the restaurant wasn’t there so her mom the (lady that is running the restaurant)called her about the situation at her restaurant but made it even worse. My wife is deaf and the lady didn’t read what my wife’s mask says I’m deaf she kept yelling at my wife and kids. The owner and I spoke on the phone and she said she has different restaurants across the country but I never seen a place like that very unprofessional and rude do...

Would not recommend. With 3 hours to go before close most of the food that was left in the pans looked like it had been there since the dinner rush. The only thing I ate was a little bit of lo mein, which came out when we were getting our plates. It was barely warm, and had an off taste that just wasn't right. My girlfriend ate some of the other food and said it wasn't warm and that the soy sauce on the stuff had a weird taste to it. We only got charged for 1 buffet and 2 drinks and it was still $18. Might be better during lunch or earlier in the evening but I definitely wouldn't recommend it...
