This is a compact foot print/Togo location. Think Subway layout. Young kids, not well trained or supervised. I was the only customer and they were struggling to coordinate between the person getting the bagels for me and the person ringing up the order in spite of being less than 5 feet from each other. It's because the girl on the register was on her phone. She has it hidden but I could see the screen lighting up and her looking at it. That's why I had to explain to her what I had ordered even though the other girl had already pulled the order. The tubs of cream cheese are in a self service fridge on the customer side, you have to hand the ones you ordered to the person behind the counter to add to your order. They hand you coffee cups at the register, you have to ask for a drink carrier that the cashier who just handed you the cups does not have, instead someone has to tell the person at the end of the line you need them. No common sense, no customer service, and a weird workflow. Also drink stoppers for the coffee cups are not at the coffee station in spite of this being a Togo location (there is no seating). I'll just go to Publix next time and grab everything I need, it's less painful than dealing with the "customer service" or...
Read moreThe food here is good, and the farmhouse bagel is amazing. I placed a catering order for three baker’s dozen bagels and two large coffee carrying cases. I chose this location because it appeared they could have everything ready quickly for my meeting. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When I arrived, my order wasn’t ready, and the staff seemed very behind. There was no sense of urgency to adjust their pace and move more efficiently. I understand being busy, but at a certain point, there needs to be a shift in speed to keep up with demand. It seems like strong management could help the team better adapt to busier times. While I wouldn’t place a catering order ahead at this location again, I’d consider trying another location since our team really enjoys the bagels and flavored...
Read moreThis is my 2nd time at this Chamblee location. Unfortunately, both experiences have not been good. This time I ordered the Santa Fe egg white sandwich and asked for the sauce on the side b/c the last time the sandwich was drenched in sauce and it was a mess. I get home to add the sauce. No egg on my sandwich, and the top bagel was cut but the bottom half was whole. Additionally, I realized for the $6.99 sandwich (one egg) I was charged $9.57. That is a 37% difference. Unless I am missing something on the way they price their items. I was charged for more than just tax. I was excited when I saw this location opening, but not anymore. The food and service is not the same as the other locations I...
