I had a car loan which we paid off and had some money left in our account. We didn’t think we needed to close the account to get our money back. Later I received a statement that they charged $5 a month for inactive account fees. They sent a letter but I didn’t see them. They didn’t call to inform. The customer support 800 number said I have to go to the branch and they could reverse the fees. I drove to the branch and they said they can’t do anything. So beware you have to close your account or they will drain your account to zero. They require for you to go into the branch to get a check. They charge a $7 fee to give a check. They waived it for me, but I don’t think this is a good practice to charge maintenance fees. They should close the account and send a check to the customer if...

She immediately started researching the issue I had while also reassuring me several times that she would resolve the problem which was very reassuring to hear.
